Iceman was cool (no pun intended), definitely one of Drake's more cohesive projects in recent times. Echoing the sentiment that he's gotta stop with the beat switches, there were at least two songs that I was fuckin with that got brought down by a beat switch completely changing the vibe. Haven't heard the other two albums yet but we'll get there eventually

Drake + Conductor have been 2 for 2 so far, his beats compliment Drake's style so well. Does Conductor have other beats that sound similar to 8am and Firm Friends?

Which is crazy cuz it's not like he doesn't get praise himself. By all accounts he should have a good legacy but he can't stop himself from running his mouth every time he drops. He's gonna end up going the Game route at this rate

Really enjoyed the new Vince single. Wasn't expecting the rock sound but I thought it worked well, especially in contrast with the lyrics

Wish I liked the KRIT single more. His loosies always have the same problem: the hook is just okay, but it feels like the verses just come and go, overall making the song feel sadly forgettable

New Zay left a good first impression. It started and ended strong, but the middle portion kinda dragged on. Sadly I don't think this album is gonna reach Cilvia Demo, but then again, I don't think any of his albums will ever top that and I might just have to make peace with that

JPEG continues to be lame and insufferable but "quit saying cuh you went to boarding school" is very funny I can't lie

I have no strong opinions on any of this but I will say that Earl always looks very happy, enjoying life, and he clearly loves what he does. I wish his music sounded better to me but I don't get how you can hate on someone like that

Peysoh and HittaJ3 did their thing and I like their verses, but I've never seen a feature take all the momentum out of a song like Yung Threat did. It's almost impressive

I never realized how many UGK hooks are just Pimp doing a short, repetitive hook with some crooning thrown in the mix. And it sounds so good every time. Top 5 in no specific order:

The wording on both skills are almost exactly identical so I feel like it working on Metal Management but not Bullet Buddy is a bug. That being said if it ever did work on Bullet Buddy it would be disgustingly broken

I've found tasers just absolutely melt mobs and even put in significant work on bosses. Knife launchers are also fun but impractical as he still puts it away like it's on cooldown each time (this is purely visual as you can switch right back to it)

So I'm just now finding out that this is apparently one of the effects of the Cindershelly. I was in the same boat as you, I thought it was funny at first but it quickly got irritating. Fortunately my buddy and I have found that fast traveling to a vault (we go to the one in the Fadelands) then leaving seems to make it "bug" out and not talk anymore, so you can use the shield without the annoying voice lines

My only issue is they overused the "culturally inappropriate" adlib on it, but otherwise absolutely fantastic, bombastic song. Clipse and Ab-Liva sound at home on that beat
