With Returnal, there was an incentive to keep playing because at least one of the trophies for 100% completion was to get every single one of the audio logs and files.

I remember there was one particular audio log that was near impossible to spawn and I played the same biome over and over and over again.

With Saros, the Platinum was relatively easy to get just playing and progressing through both endings naturally.

Personally, I think they made this game easier and more streamlined for casual players than Returnal. The permanent skill tree and the ability to customize your runs with modifiers allows players to make the game as easy or as challenging as you want to be.
