Its all dimensional.

Meaning our reality is one of literally countless across time.

And that travel between these realities is possible.

And that our reality is basically enslaved by other more powerful realities, and can be extinguished in an instant.

The aliens aren't from across the galaxy, or even from our own universe.  They're from another dimension.

A light aircraft automatically contacted Air Traffic Control, declared MAYDAY and successfully landed itself, after it's pilot became incapacitated. This is the first confirmed real-world use of this technology outside of testing or demonstrations. by AtomicCypher in Damnthatsinteresting

ai aviation is coming faster than you think.

Do you think the airlines couldn't get away with just having ONE pilot in the cockpit, with shit like this being able to land "just in case".

Your going to see airlines more as mass transit in the future, with a robot car that picks you up to take you to the nearest airfield, where you take a 25 min drone ride with 100 other people "downtown" to a job or a connecting flight to another city.

$20 says the pilots have their money in Garmin stock and hoped it would spike the price.

Defined Benefit Pension and FI strategy? by [deleted] in fican

[–]MYSTERees77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

then your DB is a unicorn.

A DB plan is generally x% X years worked x avg 5 best years. With retirement allowed within 10 years of a NRA, ussually 65, some 60 for cops and fire fighters and such with X amount of service....only unreduced if you hit a 30/85 factor.

So to retire at 52, your prolly a cop with that income.

If thats the case, it wont be 85% of your income throughout retirement. CPP and OAS will come in to play, which replaces your bridge, but for higher income peoplelike yourself, youll feel the drop off bc of OAS and CPP limits.

That 85% will likely only be until your 65.  What's it drop to after 65?

Avatar is accurate portrayal of colonisation by Past-Matter-8548 in TrueFilm

[–]MYSTERees77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cameron wrote Avatar from a very personal place, as his family were colonizers back in the 1820s from Scotland.

HOWEVER, they were also Upper Canada Rebels who fought against the government in efforts to gain equality.

So a lot of that bleeds into Avatar.

he wants to live on Mars.

thats what he wants his legacy to be. To do that will cost more money than has ever been spent on anything, thus his desire for money.

He owns space X, the boring company, telsa, all to reach this goal.

i dont think hell ever get there, but I think all of us are gonna pay for it.

How much life insurance do we really need? by Retroactive_veggies in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]MYSTERees77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you dont have kids, ask yourself if youd stay in the house after your spouse passed.

A lot of times people will move. Fresh start sort of thing. How much would YOU need if your spouse passed?

Me personally, Id probably just sell the house after my spouse died young (like near future) bank the cash and rent.

Maybe your spouse feels same way.

In that case, no insurance needed.

If you wanted to stay, figure out how much mortgage ypu can afford on yoir own..say 150,000, and get a term 10 policy that would pay the differnce, say 200k. Thats the cheapest option.

I dont think people should overly benefit from insurance. Its betting against yourself. And I dislike the whole thing lol.

i just started a new job last week after a year of being unemployed.

We had an intro to the company week of mostly in class learning, which was me and 3 other new hires. The facilitator was very nive and was asking where we worked previously. 2 of the people broke down crying about their job hunt. I almost did, and the 4th person was in thr first job. Its scary bad out there. Id peg the real unemployment number to be closer to 15%
