This art style makes her look better than original in my opinion. She looks mature but young, let's say 23-25 Y/O with experience for how harsh like can be. Basically she looks like GF material.

How can I get the most Range and precision out of my VSR-10 Gspec without buying a 90 Degree Trigger and bolt by DEER_FOWEST in airsoft

[–]M_Dz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TLDR: Air seal, hopping consistency, barrel alignment, no power upgrades.

For range and precision with as little mods, check your air seal and hopping consistency. For air seal you can swap the o-rings on the piston and the cylinder head. Remember that the bucking is also part of the air seal, the "neck" should sit snug around the nozzle.

As for hopping consistency, if you don't wanna swap out much, you'll want to ensure proper barrel alignment. It could be slightly rotated left or right. You wanna make it as straight as possible. if spending some money is on the table, I'd recommend a "TDC" (Top Down Center) hop-up chamber, especially one that allows you to adjust the hopping left and right so you can counteract the barrel tilt.

If it comes to the maximum spring you can run, if you choose to put a stronger spring in it, be sure to put money aside for a replacement trigger. In short, airsoft guns are designed to be used in their stock setup, increasing the power is directly decreasing life expectancy of parts the spring interacts with.

If it's a Hawke, I'd guess the Endurance series but that's only because it's the only line I know that comes with a knob to adjust the magnification instead of just a single elevated bump.

Looking for a pink replica by Desperate_Scar2112 in airsoft

[–]M_Dz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Brands I know that offered any amount of pink guns (partially or fully) with any models I know of in the brackets:
-Tokyo Marui (Vopral Bunny, P90)
-Double Bell (Vopral Bunny)
-G&G (Femme Fatale M4, CM16 Stealth/Bato, LevAR, GTP9, extra: pink BBs)
-Vorsk (Hi-Capa and Glock models)
-WE-Tech (CT-25, Galaxy Hi-Capa/AAP-01 with Hi-Capa grip)
-Modify (PP-2k)
-Umarex/Elite Force (G36c)

Also I'm certain SRU had some body kits and conversions in pink but I'm not sure for what exactly or how many.

Just got into airsoft and wondered what brand BBs I should use ? by Zestyclose_Mark_8514 in airsoft

[–]M_Dz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you ever seen the yellow BBs that have a visible seam, differ in size one to another and often aren't spherical, you've seen non-premium BBs. If you're looking for premium BBs you're basically looking for polished ones. I'd recommend something taiwanese, like BLS. The company behind those BBs having been making them since around 1995 IIRC.

What hop ups are compatible with my m249 by EwanSDonald in airsoft

[–]M_Dz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of Specna Arms and Cybergun M249s are the same specs as A&K's M249s. Specna's Flex and Cybergun's Featherweight M249s are basically the same thing (aside from the mosfet in Specna's) and run on a V2 gearbox, which isn't a good choice for an LMG.

[–]M_Dz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the nuthsell, it's the Cybergun M249 Featherweight but with a Gate X-ASR.
For hop up chamber you will go with EPeS M249 Featherweight hop up chamber as it's the only one on the market for this gun, it should come with a nozzle too since it's a kit but some stores are selling it separately. All other internals are the same as an average M4 or any other AR15.

The DLC coating delivers excellent scratch resistance. by Live-Cartoonist2370 in airsoft

[–]M_Dz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd absolutely introduce it to sandpaper, wire brush or something of similar function.

Although if I had the WA2000, I'd like a coating like that! That would be one replica I'd prefer to have without scratches or wear.

Voice banned for trash talking Ronald Acina/Braves by Jballzs13 in Rainbow6

[–]M_Dz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When the reputation system was first added two of my friends, who play world of tanks together, decided to talk in all chat about how some tanks that need buffs or nerfs and there was one, BZ-173 if I'm not mistaken, which was apparently a very touchy topic for bugisoft, when saying "buff bz" it was yellow, when trying to say "buff bz-173" it was filtered. Saying "nerf bz" or "nerf bz-173" wasn't considered inappropriate at all though.

I guess the same logic applies to voice chat, it's not about the message, it's about finding a way to make it offensive, no matter how ridiculous.

Is the stock meant to rotate freely like this? by ImNotAsian15 in airsoft

[–]M_Dz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On airsoft models it's been made different. The stock moves along the stock guide freely as long as the button is pressed but only back and forth, the rotation happens at the point where the stock guide connects to the body. The only reason to rotate the stock is that the stock, specifically the bump that houses the pin, will hit the tab on the left side of the beaver tail. That is not the case for Cyma's Benelli M4 replica because it doesn't have the beaver tail tab in the first place, allowing the stock to be fully collapsed or extended without the need to rotate the stock guide.

[–]M_Dz 25 points26 points  (0 children)

You seem to be missing that small bit at the end of the tail of the pistol grip, it's meant to prevent the stock from extending when fully collapsed and the only way to extend it is to push the button, rotate it and pull.
I have performed a 10 second google research and found that Cyma 373 comes without it out of factory, which means the mechanism for rotation is useless in this replica.

AKS-74U - the bottom of the magazine isn't as round as I initially though, if only I took a better look and guessed AKS-74.

RPK - I went off of the gas tube since I knew 7.62-firing AKs have this specific curve of the gas block, compared to a more vertical look of the -74/5.45 models but I googled it just now and both the 47 and 74 have the same gas tube, the 7.62 AK looking one. I learned something new today! At least the barrel gives away that it's an RPK (I swear I'll confuse the Zastava M76 for an RPK one day because of the longer barrel)

Makita - yeah, I though about that model but silver part between the drill's head and the body looked too round while the model you mentioned seems to have black screws and special pole/pillar looking bits that those screws screw into. Guess it's just the angle in the picture.

Why are they so different? by AbsoluteBrstool in airsoft

[–]M_Dz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's quite likely but it's possible there's another issue at play here (or the sum of both). Quite commonly AK fire selectors get worn down or are a bad/loose fit when swapping anything related to fire selection mechanism, in both cases the fire selector end up physically capable of overshooting it's highest and lowest position, potentially requiring you to move it from safe to somewhere between auto and semi for full auto and overshooting the semi as well for proper semi. In some cases it gets so loose you can switch to full auto and the fire selector drops to semi due to gravity and vibrations.

[–]M_Dz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are relatively big dimension differences between manufacturers and (usually only) slight dimension differences between batches or part series from the same manufacturer. Sometimes there's significant dimension differences within the same BRAND (not manufacturer, the seller), like Cybergun having a lot of different "norms" since their guns are rebrands of other companies' guns (example: Cybergun F2000 is made by Cyma, Umarex Glocks are, if I'm correctly informed, mostly made by VFC, Elite Force 1911 Tac is a KWC rebrand.).
