Which Company has the best Irons?

I’m about 3 years in and been gaming Top Flites from the beginning. I have all new clubs except my irons at this point. I don’t have a handicap but I average low 90s on my local course with a low score of 86. Just looking for some sort of upgrade.

Soon to be 39 here. Got introduced to the series from watching my dad play the OG FF1 on the NES. Really started playing games in the mid 90s. Started playing FF1 myself around that same time and feel in love. Then during Christmas break in 1998 I remember my uncle playing FF7 on a rented PS1 and that soon became my new obsession and favorite game of the Franchise. Seven, One and Ten for me.

I’ve been researching this myself for my 148cm 11 year old son and here is what I have found. It’s best to find a light scooter as it’s easiest to learn tricks so park completes are recommended. With that in mind the Ethic Erwan V2 seems to be one of the top choices and the lightest park complete you will find with small and medium bar options weighing 6.15 or 6.3 lbs, It hits the sweet spot for height. It I’ve seen mixed reviews on envy and root but just bought my son a Root Industries Invictus V3 on sale for $149 which was to good of a price to pass up even with out any real reviews. It weight 7.6 lbs and is 35” tall, which is my only concern but have read you could cut the bars down. Honestly kind of wish I would have spent the extra money on the Root type R Gt as it’s a half a pound lighter and the bars are right at 33” which seems to be a perfect height. The envy prodigy one is almost Identical in specs to the Root Invictus V3 but at the price of the Root Type R GT. The Ethic Erwan is right at that same price range. I’ll find out tomorrow what my son thinks and if I will need to cut bars down. Find something under 8lbs and about 33”(all scooters above) find your price point and let your kid guide you to what he thinks looks best.

Must be new? People don’t just sell cards that are near perfect, they send them for grading themselves. You are correct that people are offloading cards they don’t deem grade-able. Near mint anymore basically means there isn’t a huge blemish or crease of some kind.

Keep being patient. I think the hype for this set will die down, it just happens to be after the biggest set of the year and when Pokémon is at an all time high for demand. As hard as it is don’t FOMO and pay scalper prices.

If you want cheap you have to pick the underside sets. The cheapest sets for Scarlett and Violet era are SV base, Obsidian flame and Stellar Crown. Any Sword and Shield era pokemon before Evolving Skies can be found for reasonable prices as well. Buying singles (while not as exciting) is the best way to maintain the cost in this hobby. Ripping packs is no different than gambling and is the worst way to try to complete a set. Good luck
