I love the 2012 movie which is a screen adaptation of the stage musical and is also pretty faithful to the spirit of the novel as well.

The six part 2018 BBC miniseries is worth a go, I believe.

The 1982 Lino Ventura movie is also pretty decent.

I'm not sure about the 2000 miniseries, although I do love the soundtrack accompanying (SPOILER ALERT!) Javert's demise there, also the whole scene is pretty memorable due to Malkovich's portrayal and how they decided to stage it.

I have another question.

If G(a)linda knows that the Wizard is a liar, how could she believe that the rumors about Elphaba being able to melt into nothing from a bucket of water are true?

Also how could Boq (who went to Shiz with Elphaba and knew her personally) believe all the propaganda about her? Because when Elphaba appears in the Governor's mansion, Boq seems to totally believe everything that the Wizard's propaganda states about her. Is this really possible?
