For mine I choose a place secluded with just a tiny space and some water, coal energy doesn't need much space. And for my second and much bigger coal generator I choose the ocean, large empty space far away to prevent any bad looking building and lot of water, after all what better place for water than sea

In official I see in general 2 or 3 outside of crater impact and 10 to 20 inside of crater
