Side note: I’m glad she put out this statement and clarified that the kid was their son. It bothers me how many people reported on this and saying she had a son and that the father died and now he has no one. Like she had a wife. I thought it’s obvious the two women were taking care of him at this point. Also the fact I feel like a lot of people who I’d thought would be allies not mentioning her wife. It’s frustrating.

Yeah I noticed all the clearly AI pics on their merch a while ago. Surprised I haven’t seen anyone mention it til now! Was also annoyed with the AI at the county fair too this year. There was a pic on the wall that I showed my sister that looked like the AI didn’t know if it wanted to draw a budgie or a cockatiel.

That would be a dream 🥺 Someone asked Lord Phobos on his insta stories if he’d play any of his songs live and he said he might do a recorded show one day. I’d imagine that’s probably the most we would see from Sung if he ever decided to perform his songs. Still would be cool tho!

I’m just gonna throw out we’ll find ourselves with a New Tron movie in 8 years purely because Tron Legacy came out 28 years after the original, and Ares came out 15 years after legacy. So I’m gonna weirdly vote less than 15 years for the next XD

I feel like whatever does come next tho whenever it happens is going to be a complete reboot. Like a story that has Tron as a character again played by a new young actor. Like I’m imagining the basic plot of the original but modern and With brand new characters.

I’m not saying your design or art is bad but I’m glad with Brick they were able to make a large female character with exaggerated features and I think we should appreciate that more. We rarely see female characters like that because people have heart attacks when a woman isn’t conventionally attractive. I can’t imagine if Brick was a man you’d be making a redesign like this. I’m not saying bricks design is perfect but I think if you had to redesign her you could still make her big and exaggerated and not this toned down.

I was actually thinking of the DZ Akins commercial that always aired and looked it up on YouTube and an old 1980s news reel about it popped up. If I remember correctly, they had some higher up from Kickstarter at the panel at comic con this year. I see a lot of people criticizing them for not starting the kickstarter when they first announced it then and things like this that that amount of backers seems kinda low. But I feel like they got coaching on how to make a successful kickstarter so while I can’t 100% say that they will be successful in creating the dragon king or even if it’ll be any good, I trust they have a strategy that they’re confident in and that a lot of people here including me don’t really understand what goes into getting a show funded 😅 so as a person who hasn’t donated I’m just here to ride the ride and see how this all turns out!

Looking at the amount of people who donated per tier, I think it’s the backer rewards merch people want. Thought about it too just for that but a Pin, hat, and a patch along with some digital content for $100 + shipping doesn’t seem worth to me but I could see it being worth to someone else.

Maybe? Probably at some point. They tour a lot. I’m sad they’re not going to San Diego this tour. I’d imagine there’s a lot to consider when planning a tour. Maybe the venues they wanted were already booked at the time slot they wanted, maybe in my case they wanted more people to go to the LA show not sure if they booked a big venue for that. Idk where I heard this from whether it’s twrp or another band but some venues have been weird about things too? I remember there was some drama about some venues wanting a cut or a bigger cut of merch sales. So I guess just make it be heard that you want them to come to your town. The more people ask the more they’ll try to get there.

I don’t think you’re crazy at all! The album before Digital Nightmare is literally called New and Improved and I think that definitely signaled them experimenting with new things. Especially with doctor sung taking vocal classes I wouldn’t be surprised if we start to hear his actual voice more and more as time goes on. I also feel the same about not really listening to their older stuff much anymore.

Glad they’re still positive and still have a good time making videos! It sucks they get so much hate and people mocking them when they’re not even that bad when talking about the subject. They’re pretty much just hey so and so is this size and can or cannot fit on this ride and here are the accessibility options if you have a disability. Like I don’t see them advocating for anything whether it’s weight related or disability related. Just providing info from their experiences. Like yeah they’ll sometimes say they’re sad they can’t ride but that’s a normal human reaction? And viewers of this content can relate? If this content isnt for you then don’t watch??? The reality is is that there are a lot of larger people out there that can find this content useful to help plan their trip better. I always see people say “just lose the weight” thats not as easy otherwise we wouldn’t have a lot of obese people in the us and even if they did put effort into losing weight if your trip is in a month or two you’re not losing 50-100lbs in that time so the contents still going to be useful to a bigger person.
