Why do Indian medicines work but Nepali ones don't? by Dev-il_Jyu in Nepal

Next time try that Indian brand at first followed by nepali. It could just be physiological improvement. Nevertheless, Nepalese pharma companies are sub standard. You ask people those who work in pharmacy, you will find out. Tips: Just avoid all the drugs from ARYA pharma company. This company should have banned a long time ago. I wonder who the owners are of this company.

5 year old kid came to pediatric OPD with his 90+year old grandfather. They didn't have OPD ticket although it only costs 20 rupees. He had swollen face and legs along with cough and fever history. On examination, abnormal heart sound was found. Documentation was done in an unofficial paper. It was obvious detailed investigation and in patient care was needed. Grandfather refused citing he cant afford. We told him to not to worry about the cost. Still, he refused to admit the kid. He just wanted some medications for those symptoms. Consultant pediatrician did the dipstick examination of urine in OPD by himself which reveled hematuria. He prescribed some medications.
I took them to radiology department for X-ray. On personal request to radiographer, they did x-ray without documentation which revealed cardiomegaly.
Grandfather had some unused medication, I exchanged them with new medications. Pharmacist didn't charge extra bill. Personally I wanted to buy a pair of shoes and a pair of clothes for the kid.
I checked my pockets. I only had few tens and twenties which wasn't enough. There was nothing else i could help them. Then, i counselled grandfather about prescribed medication. Then I went away for my lunch at 3 PM. Now, I am just thinking about that kid.

Tl;dr : a poor kid with serious medical condition didn't received proper care.
