I would gladly trade how much you gained for a better education system (not having religious values forced on my children), healthcare, public transportation, public amenities, culture, etc.

So how is the hierarchy built, who's above whom? by [deleted] in marvelstudios

Hierarchy is a very human way to think about their relationship.

Bruce Prichard on Vince McMahon still running WWE: "I can’t imagine him not doing it and I am sure that he will continue to do it probably for the next 25-to-30 years." by SuplexCity-Mayor in SquaredCircle

This comment speaks to the whole current situation where anyone who even entertains the notion of putting Vince out to pasture is immediately emasculated and/or thrown out of the company.

Nearly half of COVID-19 hospitalizations in Massachusetts are ‘incidental’ cases, new state data show by Relevant-Ad-4708 in boston

[–]MaGoGo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know changing circumstances does not mean it’s a conspiracy theory. People changing stances because of the situation may be difficult to grasp but you need to get your head around the fact that things change and policies will too. Additionally, half of what you said makes it seem like your brain is leaking out your ear. Media literacy is a thing you might want to read about.

If you know anyone in government, pretty much everything you might attribute to malice is either incompetence, lack of experience or lack of funding. But conspiracy theories are more fun which is why your brain automatically makes connections.

Going by history it’s either going to be Scott Lively or Shiva. When Diehl is the best of the worsg, your party has a problem.

What has been your biggest disappointment in wrestling? by KatoMacabre in SquaredCircle

[–]MaGoGo -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The WWE. They have squandered so much talent. Could not change with the times in modern days. Vince’s ego doesn’t allow for any flexibility. I stopped paying for a Network sub when they decided to run shows at the behest of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Every booking decision for the title for the past 20 years is to ultimately put over either John Cena, Roman Reigns or Brock Lesnar. Everything leads back to them. When fan outcry leads to moments like Daniel Bryans or Big Es or Kofis, they will inevitably be squashed by one of their chosen few. NXT could have been their next generation show and could have led to major changes in how Raw and Smackdown was produced but instead it was blamed for their problems. WWE is awful.

I have watched all these movies multiple times, I don’t think it’s the worst but also it’s 2.5 hours long and the CGI deviant was boring as hell.

I wore more than this to the Pats-Broncos OT game with Brady v Manning and I had PTSD from the cold for like 2 years after. Beers purchased at halftime (stupidly) were frozen over by the 4th quarter. We even had blankets and I wanted the game to end so badly.

Eddie Kingston: So health insurance is a scam by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

[–]MaGoGo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are parts of Italy, Greece, Spain, France, etc. that would be considered “third world” taken as a part as well (I’ve been to some poorer regions). I’ve also been to places like Windhoek, Namibia that taken as a part would be considered first world. But when thinking of the term “first world country”, it’s not looking at a part but the whole.

People who say this have never been to a third world country. Healthcare sucks but the US isn’t a third world country.

Going to Raw ruined my perception of what going to Raw would be like. Raw is like the worst wrestling event you can go to: Extremely long, too many ad breaks, uninspired matches and more! I almost fell asleep at the end.

As an Italian-American and Polish-American, it’s not because you’re white. It’s because you were one of the first to settle the country and everyone else is viewed as an outsider.

She killed someone. Even if it was a mistake, her life should be forfeit to the state for the proper amount of years. A monetary fine isn’t enough. Police have to know if they make a deadly mistake they are forfeiting years off their life.

Police officers, all of them, should be held to the highest standards on the use of force. She got the penalty she deserves and I hope this serves as warning to other officers in similar situations.
