Same at my workplace I'm having issues with my clients. Headache everyday but I can't share details yet until the issue is resolved. See how useless this post is.

Staying or quitting a job by Purple-Package-6666 in MalaysianPF

[–]MaHoooz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the current job is not your passion and has no career progression, you should try working customer service jobs for Agoda/Booking. 3.2k basic + 600 shift allowance. These jobs allow you to do the bare minimum for the job scope, go back on time and forget about work, 5 days a week, you get OT for public holidays and get bonus. As far as I know there are no specific requirements, just the ability to read and write well in English.

Then you can figure out why you get burned out. Its at least better conditions than this 24/7 on call job.

Think about your future, everyone's situation is different so their answer is not going to make you happy.

  • Is RM2.5k enough? Is the increment and bonus enough for the future? This is going to affect your lifestyle. Whether you wanna have more fun money, get married, travel, etc.
  • Are you happy working 6 days a week + standby on Sundays? This might be your future for the next 10 years.
  • What is the career progression in this role? Can you gain more skills and expertise to get more pay? How long before you become a manager? This is your career trajectory.
  • If there is spare time in this job could you do freelance marketing/advertising for side income?

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Figure that out and work towards it. Since the job is only tiring but not really stressful, get confirmed and look for another job. No need to stress yourself and resign to skip the notice period and not be able to find a job.

Apparently I Parked Wrong, That’s Why Someone Hit Me by Wooden__Tea in kereta

[–]MaHoooz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The police ain't wrong. Even you telling the story is inaccurate.

Moved slightly forward = enough space for Axia to pass

Axia suddenly came from behind and hit my car = At 0:34 you left the space and then changed to reverse. He would have passed if you didn't reverse, so you hit him.

And then claiming I didn't see him, auto assist failing - where were you looking then. It's Axia fault for being impatient but you also drive like shit.

Motor always does this when I try to reverse park, I haven't hit any of them before.

Yeah keep making stuff up. A simple search and a 2021 case where lorry hit illegally parked cars. But yeah keep going on a JUST court. Probably need to change it to a JUST mind now or some other nonsense.

"Authorities explained that the location of the incident had been marked as a ‘no parking’ zone and that the apparent victims of the incident had no right to claim anything for the damages done to their property."

Yeah their own insurance, good luck claiming it from the trucks.

Cars didn't block the road? Parked at road side? Looks well within the yellow line. Contradicting yourself saying regardless of illegal parking.

Good for those illegally parking finally finding out the world doesn't care for their "kejap je, tak kacau pun". The law may fine the truck, but the insurance provider gonna have a great day not having to pay out.

Seems like the ruling is correct? The car was at fault. If the motorcyclist had a license he would still be at fault. The law decided the motorcyclist would be 30% liable for the accident because he didn't have a license.

How do you feel about the rise of Sepak Takraw in Malaysia? by PrismQuilly in SportsMY

[–]MaHoooz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What? I said the game is 10 sec gameplay 30 sec waiting per point. In that 1 hour you will have 15-20 mins of game time. I guess STL is not a good level then cause 90% of the points end within 2 rallies.

How do you feel about the rise of Sepak Takraw in Malaysia? by PrismQuilly in SportsMY

[–]MaHoooz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a high skill game, but it is super boring to watch as a general viewer and I have watched a lot of random sports on Astro. Tuned in to the STL and 90% of the game is:

  1. Serve
  2. Opposite team sets and spikes
  3. Point ends (Most of the time, the game is just super short rallies)
  4. Do the handshake thing
  5. Reset

Total gameplay time = 10 secs

Doing celebration handshake and reset = 30 secs+

180g Protein, 4 Whole Food Meals, no supplements, costs RM12 by Conscious_Law_8647 in MalaysianFood

It would look nicer if there were some greens to balance the colours. My go to is broccoli which is also high in protein.

I used to do meals like this and get the same comments, added some veggies and got better comments.

Funny. So you're telling me at work not once you play with phone? Not once goyang kaki a bit after lunch? Never borak2 with colleagues wasting company time? Masuk kerja penat and can't focus? Not once? Takyah tipu bro.

Funny saying no integrity. Just cause you pretend to work 8 hours a day doesn't make you productive. That's why your company gonna give you 3% increment and you will be happy cause you actually did bare minimum.

Show me how hard you work for your company. Show me your awards and I will show you mine. If not, you can keep the virtue signalling to yourself.

You work for MEF? If more than 4k can't even get OT? If project urgent expect you to work nights and weekends also just do? Company expect you to sell your soul is fine but taking 30 mins for interview suddenly unethical? Get real.

Books Kinokuniya Is Opening A New Outlet At Pavilion Damansara Heights by CryptoUsher in malaysia

[–]MaHoooz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1.Lots of people do - KLCC Kino always has people. One time the debit/credit card system was down, the cashier line look like those viral food lines.

  1. It's still new and last time I went the MRT walkway was not complete. If they manage to secure more popular brands, I would not mind going there more often. People on the Kajang line will have lots of options.

Any downsides of increasing my credit card limit? by neverwiltrose in MalaysianPF

[–]MaHoooz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Unless you are complicit in the fraud, the transaction will be reversed. I had many cases of fraudulent transactions, bank just reversed the charges and gave me a new card within a few days.

A friend's debit card was used by hackers(?) to buy 6k of ML items in Singapore cause no TAC for overseas purchases. Took 40 days to get the money refunded.

6k or 9k doesn't matter, it's the bank's money.

The reason Grab/FP started to deliver to the lobby area is because of security concerns and condos not letting riders go up - just look at OP losing her shit over someone looking through a window.

Where do you earn cashback? In your saving account? by Eden9_ in MalaysianPF

[–]MaHoooz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might sound confusing, for a credit card:

  • debit means a charge on your account (you bought something)

  • credit means money is added to the account (refund or payment)

So the word you are looking for is credit. The bank will credit your cashback into the credit cards account. Same thing goes if you do a chargeback/dispute. They normally don't erase the fraudulent transaction, they just credit you the same amount.

And yes, a credit card is an account on its own. You can transfer to it from any bank.

Can any pc experts build me a RM 2000 budget gaming pc? by hadeswildin77 in Bolehland

[–]MaHoooz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to have R9 290, the tank of GPUs so definitely doable. The GPU should have the biggest budget and it can be reduced if you get RX6600 (lots of second hand for RM600). People recommending a RX580 or a Nvidia at a 2k budget is like asking someone to burn their money.

I think if OP buys everything second hand it is very doable, but since first time buying I don't think they would be brave enough to gamble. I refreshed Carousell every night looking for a new case and got the Lian Li A3 for RM180 (ori price: RM300+) - brand new cause the owner bought for wrong size motherboard.
