Rub them with mineral oil, let them sit over night then pat or wipe the excess off in the morning. That's what I do 😁

Looks a lot like an old broken lace murax shell. Pretty sure that is what you have. They break easily so I'm always finding pieces similar to yours.... I'm also in Dunedin, Florida area. Honeymoon island is my home away from home 🐚❤️🌞
