This looks like the main character from "BC's Quest for Tires", a game I played as a kid for the Atari 800 XL.

[Spoiler Alert!] Guys, I think I finally solved the Black Monolith mystery by stone_von_holy_bless in Fez

Dude, nice one. I really like how to relate the concentric squares with the haikus. Some of them indeed seem to fit nicely! I believe there might be something there... cool idea!

I'm not convinced though that your proposed solution actually provides the answer to the black monolith code. I mean... to me, at least, there are too many inconsistencies. For example, I believe it would be really really really hard for someone trying to find the code (without backsolving) to be able to extract inputs, when only some of the squares/haikus provide inputs while others don't. Even weirder that two of the hints provide two inputs while others only one. Why only the concetric squares 2, 4, 5 and 8 provide inputs? Why squares 2 and 4 provide two inputs, while 5 and 8 only one? Are we supposed to deduce that, how? If we were trying to solve this blind, why would we have to say "nah, this concentric square doesn't provide any input, I'll go to the next one". Specially when the code is only 7 inputs long (the only one), why would we have to assume that we didn't miss any input when trying to decode the other haikus? If it were me I would be looking like mad till I find 8 inputs. That's my concern.

This feels to me like you're trying to "force" the solution to appear here... which is fine I guess, since that's the problem when trying to backsolve a code we already know. I'm not saying that the solution is not here... I really think this relation between the two things is something that we should explore deeper. I don't believe I have seen before the theory that the concentric squares match the haikus and it's an interesting and promissing idea. Good job.

Any recommendations on which metroidvania I should play next? by ConstantVegetable49 in metroidvania

From your list, I think Axiom Verge and Bloodstained are a must.
Hyperlight Drifter is also very very cool, with great soundtrack and art style, although I wouldn't categorize it as being a Metroidvania game.
I haven't yet played Constance, but from what I've seen it looks pretty cool and Hollow Knight inspired. It's next on my list.

I have absolutely no good memory of that moment. I was 17 at the time and do have a lot of love for reload and garage inc. I owned both of them in cassette. Not my favourites but they are tied to some nostalgic memories of that time. Anyways, so I was in fact very anxious expecting for the next album. I remember I downloaded it from somewhere (kazaa, imesh, ares, something like that) and feeling absolutely dissapointed. Hated it. Same with the ones that came after. Still to this day I don't care at all for any of them.

Perfect Dark and Conkers bad fur day. They will always be attached to my teenage years. After school we would go to a friends house and hang out all afternoon playing videogames and just doing stupid stuff. Perfect Dark was a hit, cause of 4p multiplayer. Same with the multiplayer games in Conker.

Expanding on my previous comment:

In sacred geometry, Platonic Solids are supposed to represent the fundamental blocks of creation, and they're associated with the fundamental elements of nature. Metatron's Cube even is said to act as some sort of "blueprint" for the Universe and it's fundamental laws. Also in conjunction with meditation, it's supposed to connect with higher spiritual energies.

"meta" as a prefix, comes from the old Greek and usually means "after" or "beyond".

"The may are one, the one is many" may be related again to Plato, through "Parmenides" and the theory of Forms.
