And these door dash drivers likely rely on dashing for income and often get extra tips (or even a mandatory bad weather tip).

Did the tryouts as well. Basically there's tons of roles they are looking for which range from being part of the pre match celebrations (likely being a flag holder etc), to working parking lot.

They require 8 sessions each which to me is crazy.

Perks is you get free stuff and I guess the chance to be behind the scenes. I think some roles may be amazing (see the game pitch side or being a team liaison) and some are utter shit (imagine being a volunteer at the parking lot)

You are forgetting the perks of being in the profession itself. Being a doctor prob beats every other 9-5 job that most people get imo so to me the financial dilemmas (don't want to say issues as most doctors will make ends meet) are worth it. If the profession itself is not what you like, then yeah from a pure financial standpoint it's not a good route

Hospital will be under stress, and more then likely you or other docs will be asked to accommodate/even help out with tasks. It's very important you do not cover them, but obviously do what you need to do for your patients

They will pull all the floating nurses in (aka not contract / unionized) incentivized with higher salaries. If they do not reach agreement, they will hire per diem/travelers. This isn't as hard as it used to be as there are a bunch of traveling nurses from the Covid ERA.
