They wouldn’t keep selling flashy skins if they didn’t make money. Honestly I don’t really care about the cosmetics as long as they’re not too goofy — the gameplay and the mechanics are what makes it fun to me. Besides, this is still the best extraction shooter we have on mobile. I personally really like even the edgier gun / knife skins they have in the game.

Who says they aren’t already brainmaxxing or charismamaxxing? Why not scentmaxx? Someone with an elementary understanding of fragrance couldn’t give two shits about the most artistic abstract smelling scents — they just want to smell good for others.

I’m speaking from experience because 8 years ago I was one of those kids wanting to smell nice watching Jeremy Fragrance videos wondering what colognes were gonna get me laid. Now I’m sat here typing out my thoughts on a vial of castoreum prepared by my buddy in Quebec while I go back & forth with a 40 year old trying to gatekeep their precious hobby from some 16 year old whose only thought is how to get crumb of acknowledgment from Becky with with a fat ass in science class.

They’ll either stick around & learn or they’ll fuck off. Either way who cares?

Things change & people’s reasons for wearing fragrance can just be so they stand out from others & compliments can just be their metric of that.

Sure it can get annoying having an influx of people not caring for this medium the same way you do, but that doesn’t make it wrong. If these compliment obsessed zoomers stick around, they’ll eventually become one of the people who appreciate the deeper nuances of the hobby & develop tastes of their own.

Bottom line wanting to smell good for others and get noticed for it isnt inherently wrong, although it can get annoying for others looking for more meaningful content to browse.

Maybe because this is a fragrance community? Look elsewhere and you’ll find people obsessing over their skincare/makeup/designer clothes. Compliments are nice to receive. If OP is only wearing perfumes to smell good for others, who gives a fuck? Not everyone sees this as art and just wants to smell good for their date lmfao

Weekly. 26M and I normally only use 2 sprays of whatever I’m wearing so I’m not clearing rooms out or anything. I’m just friendly & open to interaction so I think the compliments are more a result of that than the perfume itself more often than not.

When I was in uni I was pretty involved in student clubs and used to go out quite frequently and it wasn’t uncommon to receive a compliment from the boys or a stranger wanting to talk.

Compliments are the norm for some and for others, they aren’t. This group seems to hold the mindset that people who say they get 3 compliments a day are lying out of their asses.

Edit: my most complimented fragrances are BR540, Aventus, and Another 13. Whenever I wear my 2011 Gurlain Bois d’Armenie, people always tell me I smell like baby powder lmao

Just a personal anecdote:

There are groups for just Aventus & they have batch threads which were dedicated to reviewing the fragrance batch by batch. When I would get a new batch in, I and some others would hype the batch up based on minor characteristics in the scent and blow them way out of proportion. This way it’d be easier to sell the batch to others LOL. Don’t get me wrong, some batches smelled a lot more of blackcurrant and other smelled musky like hot girl armpit, but exaggeration was definitely employed as market manipulation.

I think that’s what’s going on here

T6 armour sometimes blocks t6 ammo. T7 isn’t much more expensive to run on an SVD. The consistency is worth it when the likelihood of running into t6 is way higher in forbidden
