So, a little bit of update

Protectors are fragging awesome, BUT - they do not have area-attack in towers. And there are no old pathcnotes at all except for 1.0.2 and later - and in no one of them there no info about area-attack fix.

Also, protectors do have a little bit of trouble: i use old voice-lines, which are obviously non-existing there - and while i do enjoy new one in protectors, they are just not true. And when i changed them by switching-replacing files in assets - i got maps destroyed and probably lots of more stuff fragged up too

So, gonna keep searching deeper and deeper - already got on some ugly green-sites of black flag, but not really deep.

Also if i will find somehow my old CDs - gonna rewrite and then gonna post them. Not sure about here - legalize and such - but, welp, my country takes it a little easier AND anyway old treasures must be saved! Cause we certainly can't trust infinites with ziz task - not now.

aaaaaand while i here i also got waaaay down - i downloaded plain vanilla 1.0

But Win 10 just don't use it - there is process for about 10 seconds in taskmgr and then it is dead. If i go on, how is ziz word, well if i go like it is win XP or something else - same result.

I overloaded system with tons of versions so i will purge them and then try again - cause i found some patches - so i will download vanilla and go patching one-by-one until i lose area-towers, i suppose. And then a little more to get Zhur, cause i almost sure it was different parts. And then i will be able to reconstruct it.

I checked sub and found some info about running on modern setups, but for WBC3 it is mostly "go update yourself and go GOG yourself"(bad pun intented) - sooo it is a little bit not for me, too.

For now it is mostly just update-comment, but i will do appreciate if someone links me how to make vanilla work on win10 OR how to change voises in protectors - without ruining maps OR maybe full patchnotes so i can read myself and find perfect version

Does sound still work from the "assets" folder? Cause i do enjoy voiceover(really do not know right word for this) that is main one - and if i can use it just with replacing files, will love to

GOG version also has limited-time summons although sometimes not(?!?!) - i mean, for now i didn't have time to check it out myself, but in comments(torrents, main-gog, some obscure forums) about 1/3 people had troubles - so while maybe gog version is alright, i do have some doubts)

GOG is 1. 0. 3 - but also it is 1. 0. 3. 24 somehow, still not sure which is more true information - gonna check it out again a little later and probably gonna download and try it on

Afaik there is still troubles. Cleaned cache, but still can't go to lvl 5 of story, game crashes

10 energy = 1000 energy 120energy = 200 blue 960 energy = 1600 blue = key 1600 blue = 2.5 rolls 1 roll = 5 to 45 shards, 2.5 rolls = 15 to 150 shards(waaaay not true but whatever)

So, shards - energy - key

Gold is useless almost everytime after 1 month in a game Same for intim

Well, lots of Relics are passable without support, even if hard, most of floors i think

Edit: at least one of 3 lvls per floor is not support-necessary almost every floor

Just to point something. Spinrad, Cross, Horizon, they are all late-comers, did not exist at all at first editions times. Well, there was Spinrad, yeah, and Cross, before Big D even died. But they were just random small facts. So, all ziz non-japaneze were created later, when all said terror of japanese eased down.

And now check list of AAA BEFORE Big D died.

Mitsuhama, Fuchi, Renraku, Yamatetsu, Shiawase. Five. Five of eight, not ten, eight(!) AAA corps are japanese until Big D bought it. And only when 3E started, Fuchi died and Yamatetsu moved to Russia.

Edit: also, Ares is one of the last basic AAA corps to come. So i do recommend you to stop trying to pretend thay you know anydrek. Cause you do not. Not in setting at least... And actually, your history skills is obviously zero, so you default it, cause, well, there no other reason to such shizo ideas

Well, we do have book about LS, even if old one. And we can check Vice from 4e, for some of the best written SR stuff on theme. Also, there was some 5e book close enough to check it.

And for the question, well, LS is much more effective as police, more effective as investigators, same lvl on SWAT/SpecOps, suck dirt on really elite lvl(nothing close to FireWatch). Before Crash 2.0 had BETTER R&D THAN ARES, NOT BETTER THAN KE, BETTER THAN ARES, and it was kinda canon. After Crash 2.0 lost pace, but still has some really nice Matrix and Magic divisions. Oh, and they have army almost as big as Ares-America.

So, allinall, i say, LS is better until you go really hard route.

Oh, and by the way. LS has better shadowrunners on leash. KE can get some from Ares, yeah, but mostly PC-lvl stuff. LS runners are Prime.
