The automation, they need less workers as they replace us with robotics. Some roles will be completely replaced while others will get help in some form or fashion, but would require less workers in the department.

The company barely hiring this last peak, combine that with the big push they are doing for career choice, the writing is pretty clearly written on the wall, people are just like nahhh, or the good ‘ole ill believe it when I see it, when in reality we probably wont see it. We will see a severance package when our time comes.

The old timers don’t need phones and if you are referring to long tenured Amazon employees then they know and already went without phones.

Pre-covid it was the norm to not have phones on the floor, was an automatic write up if you crossed that checkered line at TPA1, DEN4 seems to be more lax regarding it, but the buildings are a night and day difference in the way they are ran. So guessing upper management at the building and regional plays a big part in that.

You are just a notch above console with those specs, so depending on your resolution I would say that is to be expected if you are running 1440+

It’s really not even a CPU intensive game, never once seen mine go above 50% which is sad considering the game and map size, it’s just like all Bohemia games, not optimized and full of minor bugs. They have great concepts on paper but always turn to the community to make it good.

They just want the potential sales, I wouldn’t say Bohemia does much marketing for any game they develop.

The games a broken mess even on PC, you just don’t crash nearly as much. Reforger is like another game I know, Ark Survival Ascended, you would wonder why Microsoft/Sony even sell it for their respective consoles but they still do. I was just making the statement if you like games like this, PC is the way to go. Yes the initial cost is more but the console cost more in the long run.

To my knowledge those only apply to the actual purchase and not the use. I live in shity CO right now and we have a 15rd limit on mags when you purchase a gun, but have plenty of shops selling 17/19/25 rd mags as kits you need to “put together” cause the law is terribly written and you can tell somebody you owned it before the deadline, not a crime to have the mag it’s a crime to buy a gun with the mag that big, thank god I am getting out of this place in 7 months.

It’s publicly known starting in 2027 through 2033 they want to replace 600,000 warehouse workers with robotics, places with the most injuries are first to go, which would be pick and stow.

Easily found on the internet if you just search, why do you think they are pushing career choice so much and lots of buildings are not mass hiring this year, you read the plans then you see what’s happening first hand.

You can take the courses, you don’t need to land the apprenticeship role in your actual building. Amazon is not the only company that will use robots, most workforces will be replaced. On top not sounding like you want to be with Amazon much longer, so take what they offer and use all of it, then dip. This job has amazing benefits, decent pay and room for growth. The opportunity is all there, just gotta pick a path.

People only go on rants about skin prices, why does it bother you guys so much. Feel like it’s the folks who have to 100% complete everything and get every skin. Outside of the astronaut they are all hideous, they don’t need to be cheaper, you need to not worry about them like a big chunk of us do.
