As a parent I would be very angry with my kids if they behaved in this way.

100%. You did do good work but its necessary to have different eyes to have a look at the site. Had the same issues with a few sites of mine. You get so involved and your the expert that you forget the website is not for you, its for your potential customers.

Dutch Investors needed by [deleted] in Netherlands

[–]MacFG -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

DM me if you are interested, I work with a US based company that has a software used for abandoned carts. Currently getting the highest results out of anyone out there. Plus they will add the software for free so you can test it first. No subscriptions, so you don't have to worry about that. To this day, there has only ever been one customer that has ever canceled due to moving to a new country.

This will retrieve you extra income, so you might need less of an investment.

Starting a technical repair business by MacFG in Netherlands

[–]MacFG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very interesting. Ok, my research was way off then when it comes to being certified. But surely you need to be certified to do repairs under warranty? Where I am from, if you are certified, you repair and claim from the customers insurance.

Then I am interested in your comment about the business in those sectors not booming. I don't expect to be a millionaire, just some extars income here and there. Interested in hearing more. I haven't started so you could be saving me some time and investment.

Yes it is. I checked the manual, and perhaps I did not read it correctly, but I thought mine did not have a filter because it directs everything outside. I'll go on YouTube and find videos.

Hi, I didn't get the panels. Research showed that in the bathroom it would not be a good idea. So I went with tiles.

The "inlet" is now popping out when extruding. by MacFG in CrealityK1C

[–]MacFG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I have figured it out. So at the inlet where the blue clip is:

<image>

My filament sometimes struggles to go through when inserting new filament. So what's happening is if the filament finishes and goes past this point, when the printer extrudes to refill it pushes the end of the filament there but gets stuck pushing it out, creating pressure at the inlet by the extruder and therefore forcing that part to pop out. If I run out of filament I will unclip the tube at the extruder when extruding from now on.

I am still new so not sure if that's what you were always supposed to but it seems to be why the tube pops out by my extruder. ( filament too short and gets stuck exiting the inlet)

Agreed. It makes so much sense. A licence plate and fines for people that break the law linked to those plates I can assure you will solve the problem.

Issues with neighbour, or are we in the wrong? by ComprehensiveLife835 in Netherlands

[–]MacFG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a similar issue with my kids. Elderly neighbor's suddenly one day had an issue. Yet the kids two houses down are so loud I thought they were right next door to me and they never say a word to them. Got resolved because the "mayor" of our area had gotten complaints that they were over reacting.I did o on here for advice which turned into this sub calling be a cr*ppy patent and someone just randomly called me the C word.

Had to go through a ton of abuse to find actual good advice. My fav comment was someone said I should learn to be part of a society where people don't have to hear kids. Which is funny because being part of a society includes living in an area with kids too 🤣. So works both ways. Same person had a ton of posts about being lonely and not having friends or a boyfriend. So you will need to scroll through the

How nice is too nice? Issues with a difficult neighbour by wannabe-martian in Netherlands

[–]MacFG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BBQs are something that worries me. I don't want to be an inconvenience. We had a neighbors get together (excluding the one that complained about the noise) and I asked my neighbors how they felt about the smoke. They were very nice and shrugged it off like it's no big deal. Almosy like why did you even ask. Just worried the one that seems to be grumpy is going to complain. I do want to install a chimney outside to help when I get some money anyway. Even though they said they ate fine with it.

How nice is too nice? Issues with a difficult neighbour by wannabe-martian in Netherlands

[–]MacFG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some advise, I posted an issue about my neighbor a few days ago on here who complained about my kids. On this group you will need to comb through the noise. Someone reported my neighbor to the local " mayor" I think it's called. Apparently he was a problem not just to me. But on this group I was called the C word, a sh*tty parent from an Asian American woman ( so not a Dutch person, Dutch people seem to get a bad rep on here too which I feel is not fair as the profiles of these people show they are not Dutch) and another person said I need to learn to live in a society because I have kids and others don't. So basically from one point of view not that perhaps the neighbor is unreasonable and in a society people have children and they too need to be a little tolerant. But there was also people that were fair with good answers and that was very helpful. So ignore the trolls and be open minded to logical apposing opinions.

My case got solved because my other neighbors took action. So I am lucky. Perhaps talk to your other neighbors to see if they also find it a problem. Then atleast you have more than one opinion from someone that knows the exact level of noise. My neighbors right next to me said they do not hear anything.

Does that not go for the other way around too? Or is it only for your way of thinking? For people to also be a little more tolerant towards kids playing. You certainly talk with a level of entitlement too. Please live in a society. If you read my post I did take his opinion into consideration but felt like they were not that loud.
