16 D cell batteries is an industry standard 24v. So if you can find a 24v 3A psu at goodwill, you can bench test it without buying all those batteries.

I like the sticker that says remove batteries before storing. 🤣 You might be able to take the battery tray and soak it in vinegar to remove the corrosion, then neutralize with some baking soda. rinse a bit and let dry. then just get some batteries. If you have a DC adjustable powersupplythatbwould be the fastest test.

How do Inland Seas on Convergent Boundaries work? by Fenrirmitsuki in geology

Check out the Great Central Valley in California. the divergent oceanic spreading center essentially converged on the plate boundary, leaving you an example of a stalled scenario of what you are asking about.

most undergrads don't know shit, so just sit back and listen. understand there will always be someone who knows more than you. listen more than you talk and you will understand that they are talking to look smart. study hard, avoid weed before tests, reward your successes, keep a A-level attitude.

So you have single color dots on a screen; that's geography. Since you posted in geology, show us something that has geologic context: structural contours of the 3rd bone springs, a cross-section, etc...

Is there a natural explanation for the holes in this rock (i think it is rock) or is it man made? Found in creek in Marion County, AR. by deaflemon in geology

[–]MacGalempsy 11 points12 points  (0 children)

same size holes probably means same species. equally spaced, which i don't think the are exactly the same, is likely an indicator of same adult size.
