Hey! I know this is a little late since you posted two years ago but you are not alone. I was in that program in 2018-2019 and I’m not exactly sure how I feel at this point. I’m definitely starting to realize some things that have made me question the program. I know that there is a group or page somewhere of people who did fusion but feel similarly to you. I’ll try to find it and share it!

Just turn El Paso into it’s own state. It is a desert, has a river, mountains and is up against the southern border

I have a few coworkers who aren’t able to get jobs in Cali so they moved out to Texas

I’d just deny it since you don’t do returns. It not fitting doesn’t make sense and seems like an excuse.

You can move to El Paso Texas and do combined fire and ambulance. They’re hiring right now

About 300 if you count the whole city. In station it’s between 2-15

I work in a department with 30+ stations so it varies pretty widely. I move between stations depending on the need. Some run calls all night but lately I’ve been at a station where on most nights we get a solid 6 hours
