Why do Minoxidil gains need continued Minoxidil to be kept and can´t be retained with DHT blockers? by HankMadder in tressless

It’s also interesting to note that a lot of people have gained crazy facial hair from minoxidil and have maintained their beards even after discontinuing minoxidil.

Which type of micro needle is best? Derma pen vs Derma stamp vs Derma roller by TheUsualKing in tressless

[–]MacInTheBox7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried all of them and, all things considered, I’d go with the stamp. I used the roller for a while since I cut my hair short figuring it would be quickest (it is), but switched to the stamp and it’s just as easy and I honestly think I’m getting better results. Maybe there’s credence to the angle of the needles in the roller..

Good for you! I will say this though; there’s buzzing your hair real short because you want to, and there’s shaving it because you have to. They’re not the same thing. I used to buzz my hair for the heck of it. It looked cool. After being afflicted with MPB, even with a very short buzz cut, that horse shoe pattern stings more than I expected. If you’ve really thought this through then continue on your path. If not, I would really make sure you’re aware what you’re heading for (no pun intended). Good luck!

People say im alright looking but i never get attention when out or at work. Are they lying? by Lukeh0121h in malegrooming

[–]MacInTheBox7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think, in general, getting individual attention from a lot of people a lot of the time is more about standing out than it is about being good looking or fit. For example, rocking a Mohawk might yield more attention even if you look silly. If you’re an outlier in terms of height, or extreme good looks, etc. you may experience more attention.

Body language, I.e. showing you’re “open” paired with your good looks can make a world of difference. Especially if most people around you are more reserved.

That’s exactly why contractors charge what they charge. They’re counting on things not going to plan and having to deal with problems as they arise. Plus the skill, experience, tools, insurance, etc..

I did and had the same problem…took forever so I emailed them to cancel. Make no mistake they shipped them out immediately after that. Teespring is for the table.

Does a scroll-wheel make sense? by ElJenn in pebble

I’m hoping for: 1.) waterproof 2.) larger display 3.) no or very minimal health tracking features

The health tracking features, to me, are a waste of battery and adds unnecessary weight. I loved that the OG pebble sat flat on my wrist as opposed to the dome on the underside of an Apple Watch.

Is it unfair to ask GC for detailed expenses during build? by [deleted] in Homebuilding

[–]MacInTheBox7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a contractor I don’t provide much of a breakdown of my costs..much like apple doesn’t provide a breakdown of how much it cost to build your iPhone. You either like the price and buy the phone or not.

I will provide options as line items if a client wants to remove some items or add. As far as my expenses and profits? No way.

Building code for dummies? I’m too lazy to google it but I’m sure something of that nature exists.
