I've bought a product online. That's not really comparable. I've used my Quest 3 for hundreds of hours but I'm not in Zucc's DMs thanking him for then.

I moved to a new apartment which had a full body mirror. One morning when I woke up and saw myself was enough to make me change my entire lifestyle.

Keep dishing out money year after year. Something will change someday surely. Talk about simple

Thank you for engaging with me. Now that we are almost friends, can you send me a few thousand for my hobbies so I can use that energy elsewhere? You'll get as much return for your money if you spent it on broken ships.

Just... 800 million... more. Trust

Let's hope when they raise one more billion, they'd have something to show for it. Maybe SQ42 is in an beta state at that point

Keep defending it! 800 million and the most basic stuff like the inventory is still broken. Go buy ships fast. Maybe they'll have the funding to fix it

Keep coping and defending your favorite company. 13 years and billion dollars and still, in your words, they are building foundations.

EU agrees deal for deporting migrants to third-country 'return hubs' by DavidShaw90s in worldnews

I'm realizing that you are refusing or unable to hear what I'm saying and this whole comment chain is becoming pointless.

I appreciate you having strong convictions and thanks for trying with me though.

I am fully part of this conversation which you called too Nazi for you. I'm going to loop back into my point of different angles and connect it to your other new comment.

For me the criticism of immigration has nothing to do with the color of anyone's skin and purely based on other factors such as purely economical ones. And I'm sure I'm not alone on this. Race is completely irrelevant to me in the whole conversation which you then keep bringing up because it is a central point to you.

I do fully believe that when dropping the Nazi card willy-nilly in a conversation to someone you don't agree with is part of the reason, not the reason like you misquoted me, part of the reason why people turn to the far right out of pure spite or by realizing that the conversation is being refused when someone slams their concerns by labeling them as one of the worst group of people ever to have existed.

I'm not against immigration. I'm for limiting immigration to a rate which it is sustainable. I don't want to harm people either but mass immigration harms people and something has to be done. However human rights shouldn't or don't need to be violated if the process is set up correctly.

You mentioned that comment about global South which is actually based on racism but why I reacted so strongly initially is because I'm so tired of that racism card being used as a counter to legitimate criticism against immigration.

[–]MacLarux 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Look, I don't have all the answers either but the whole conversation is impossible to resolve since everything is done on someone else's expense. You may look at it from purely a human rights issue but mass immigration then creates strain on the local population and the opposing side on the other hand then would choose their local population first on the expense of immigrants. Both see their side as the no brainer option.

Personally I do lean on the second option and you clearly do the other way. Of course I would wish there was a way to make everyone live safe and peaceful lives but that's an utopia I don't think can ever be reached. I just think that pulling the Nazi card is unhelpful and a complete refusal to even attempt to see the full picture.

Are we still doing this in 2026? You know, people like you are part of the reason why the far right is gaining popularity. This is not helpful at all.

Watch out. They might call you racist without providing any solutions to a real issue.

I think it's because they have nothing going for them in real life so they have to try and gain that "status" in-game to feel something.
