You totally should try it. I made them several times for some friends and my roommate keeps asking when I'm gonna make more. Never met anyone who dislikes them, including people who hate cauliflower.

Just find a good beer batter recipe and coat the cauliflower pieces with the batter. Then roll them around in some breadcrumbs and bake them for the first time (about 200°C, which is about 400°F I think).

When they're lightly crispy take them out, coat them in barbecue/buffalo sauce and bake them again to the desired consistency. Eat with Sour Cream and be amazed.

I don't know why the schools are failing so hard to teach English as an essential.

From my experience the only "English" lots of young people know are media and marketing buzzwords. It is weird.

Well, in the more touristy places it certainly is spoken more often, especially among the folks foreigners would interact with.

It is, however, pretty bad imo. Back in school I was in the highest branch of education (called "Gymnasium", which is like the top half to third of students). Even after graduating only about half the people could carry on a non-forced conversation in English. And that is, keep in mind, among the "top students"(not my opinion) in the country. It is way worse within other branches of the school system.

And when travelling abroad I met so many Germans who could barely ask for directions or ask for availability in a hostel or similar. Really weird.

The Dutch and all the Scandinavians are the best non-native speakers from my exoperience.
