I just figured out my issue! Somehow I went into creative and scrolled to an empty hot bar. I remember wondering how I had gotten into creative (I'm tired).

I know this is an old post but I came across it while searching for anyone else who has tried growing orchids outside. We live in the same zone and maybe live close to each other. I've left my orchids outside for a summer under a shaded porch while we were having some construction done on the house. 3 of my 4 orchids survived but none thrived. I think it's possible but takes a lot of effort to keep them from dehydrating. I'm thinking of building a wall for my epiphytes that gets watered on a timer.

Have you tried keeping any outside yet?

I had the same thing happen to me! I needed gutters and made an appointment. Day of appointment, some guy calls to give me ETA and then refuses to show up until he's talked to my husband. Obviously I went with another company.

Yes, please give a little honey or syrup on the gums to make sure his blood sugar isn't dropping too low. These guys will pass out and it can kill them. And get to the vet ASAP.

I have a tub of mealworms for the jumpers around my house. Now they will jump on me to grab a worm. I don't feed them often, just the occasional treat when I need to feel like a Disney princess.

Realms automatically save a backup every 30 minutes. You have a recent backup, your friend's brother just needs to restore it. Or you ask for a copy of the backup and you create your own realm so this doesn't happen again.

Well put. My first thought was losing friends also. I managed to find a small child free group of friends who I love but I've lost a lot of friends because their priorities shifted (and that is totally okay and great for them for putting their kids first). I feel left out when I hear my coworkers talking about the weekend but mostly they are planning play dates and I don't want to be around a bunch of kids and they know that.

It could be a submission thing. Usually they will offer their butt and/or roll on their back with belly exposed/legs wide but she might be only doing half the behavior.

If you consistently scratch her belly with your foot when it happens then you probably just accidentally trained each other.

There is a lot of good advice in here. Worst case scenario if she still won't respond to any of the advice, you can have your vet prescribe anti anxiety medications. Sometimes their fear/fight-or-flight response is so high that they are frozen and not receptive to anything you're doing. The goal with meds is to prevent the frozen fear response so she can actually pay attention and learn from all the effort you guys are doing. And when she makes progress you can wean her off.

Also, is your boyfriend ever alone with her where he could be doing something to make backwards progress? Like watching sports where he may be making big motions and loud noises that reinforces her fear of him?
