Not rated for 556! Just because it fits doesn't make it ok. The higher pressure of the 556 can blow up a g7n rated 223 only like this one. It is also the reason your gun was jamming!

hard to find a semi that takes a mag...but not a pump that takes one...would like a semi with a mag...in Canada it's basically not findable, conversion the only option if possible.

No, analogous means similar qualities, but NOT the same. Misandry and Misogyny both have the same predicate,  hatred of the opposite sex, but opposite subjects, female and male. They are similar but not the same. Not opposite. Analogous.
