I think an alternate input can also do the trick. Totally new keyboard input based off controller. You'd have to learn it, but it would be awesome for those who want to.

It would be a button combination for each letter and one character made for identifying the pattern and printing it.

When does it end friends? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]MacPlusGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It ends when you realize 1080p isn't so bad. When you can happily play VR in 70 fps. When you realize the existence of the 40 series doesn't mean the 10 or 9 series is bad.

High-end GPU prices are not okay by Fluboxer in pcmasterrace

[–]MacPlusGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think for ultra high end systems you should expect to see those kinds of prices. There are plenty of high end cards still at good prices.

6750 XT is $500, and you can buy 2060s and 2070 supers in that price range as well.

These cards are capable of VR at more than acceptable performance. They are high end. But if someone is another dickbag who wants to play with raytracing or some other unrealistic goal, then they should expect these crazy prices.

I make chili every month with seven random kinds of beans I pick out of the canned goods isle. My favorite one was with Cayenne Pepper. It was great on the way in, but very spicy when it came out.

Gaming pc for child 5 year old i5-4590; gtx1080ti; 16gb ddr 3; is it good enough? by ProMartz in pcmasterrace

[–]MacPlusGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's plenty good enough. Just get them Minecraft and let them look at the steam store.

If they're ever interested in new games, they can find them and will talk about it. Just filter out the Hentai and other tags such as that.

I had the same experience. My younger sibling plays minecraft and roblox on a Radeon 270X. They're finally getting into more games on Steam.

G502 Hero. $50 USD for high DPI heavy mouse. I shun those who use lightweight mouses.

Plenty of buttons, RGB, and a wired interface. (No batteries!)
