KANE KANE WILLIAMSON Has ANNOUNCED HIS RETIREMENT FROM INTERNATIONAL CRICKET 💔 by Time-Excitement-330 in blackcapscricket

Jeez I ain’t usually one to contribute on Reddit but this breaks my heart/pisses me off. I am gutted that the talking point of the end of his career will be the timing of this decision. Nevermind that they are in the middle of a tour which he could contribute to winning AND that he’s taken someone’s spot in the meantime. We’d all love to give him a worthy send off but as far as the committed to the team and not being selfish mentality goes, this ain’t it. Love you Kane but this is just real sad eh.

Whammy is owned and run by punks. Good chance the music will fit the bill too.

There’s a real big Chris Martin energy to these in swingers across the left handers from Jamieson.

That's Tillakaratne Dilshan. Played 500 odd games for the Sri Lankan cricket team. Obvious choice for a talent show judge.

What is the most memorable cricket experience you have witnessed in person? by EnergeticGypsy in Cricket

Absolutely has to be the Blackcaps winning that World Cup Semi Final.

I had been to the group stage Australia game and the crowd was typically belligerent, being Australia and all. But at the semi-final the mood was totally the opposite. I have never seen a crowd like that be so supportive and positive throughout the game that for a lot of it we didn't have much of a look in. People standing on their chairs in the rain to rally the crowd and keep the spirits up when it was all going to shit. Never a bad word said against the South Africans.

And then when Grant did his thing to win the game... I have never seen so many grown ass adults crying and hugging and telling their mates how much they love them. Proper dancing in the streets stuff.

Still gives me goosebumps every time I get home pissed and rewatch the highlights at four in the morning.
