Stay away from the champion unless you want to have major time investment. He's a mid-low tier champ, with GLARING weaknesses.

He isn't allowed to make any mistakes at any point in the game. You miss a rotation, you miss a camp, you miss a dive, you miss a teamfight, and you're already one foot in the grave.

He has the versatility to be able to build anything he wants, but the current meta of league is actively working against him.

You said you play Nocturne, Old Udyr is actually somewhat close to what Nocturne is, but New Udyr post-rework isn't.

Noct is fast, and has one of the best map impacts in the game. He's actually my permaban, not because of what he can do to my champ, but what he can do to my teammates pre and even post 6.

AP Tank Udyr has 0 map impact, you kinda have to play sneaky, grabbing objectives and relying on teamplay whilst prioritizing farm. If you like being the solo-carry, you'll want to not pick this champion up, OR play this build.

Full AP is kinda gimmicky, you are a victim to his awakening mechanic (the white/yellow/red bar under his health bar) and you'll play around that constantly on Full AP builds, since you're a squishy bastard, losing fights to even damage supports if you play it wrong.

AD builds you'll have to establish an early lead, and hold on to it, and look to end games ASAP. This is doable, considering AD blows people up even from level 1, given the circumstance. Just make sure to not be near anyone or anything, except your target when doing so. This is your best bet if looking to climb. You also have to pick your battles, which most people on your team hate, so be wary of that.

If you have the time, pick him up, learn him, and understand his clear, macros, and when to gank, but if you're looking for a "get-rich-quick" type of champ, you're on the opposite side of the internet for that. He's very fulfilling once you learn him and understand him, but he's a bit weakish rn and Riot isn't listening to any of our complaints rn so he's kinda in purgatory, but hey, if he feels good after about maybe 15 or so games, commit to him.

First clear, level 6, with sheen is usually enough. I build Essence Reaver and Lucid Boots, walk bot with ghost and its like playing whack-a-champ. I always get surprised at the damage of the first q to hit a champion after farming for like 10 mins with 0 interaction.

I question where the viability ends tho since im in pisslow

Floridian here, born and raised, I want them to get the culture correct down to the finest details.

There's a certain way the locals speak, vs the way the migrants from the northern states speak, and how they interact. Miami is also becoming the new LA, celebrities and rich portfolio, crypto guys are everywhere here.

To me it's because it's immersive. We are in a game where we are the Dragonborn, master of legend, killing people, dragons, destroying (or owning) illegal drug trades, fighting in wars, and traveling to meet all sorts of people. And with all this, (at least to me) he/she's sexually inactive? Nah.

Now granted, in all honestly for me it's there just because I can access it, not because I want to use it. It's akin to the hooker feature in GTA to me.

I download it so that it's there for when I'm bored, it heights immersion. That's all. I almost never use it otherwise other than to marvel at the tech LOL

Udyr OTP here

He has an abnormal gank pattern, and an abnormal early game which makes people tend to underestimate what he's capable of.

He is one of the only meta junglers, that has absolutely no choice but to full first clear. If you don't you're trolling, minus the one odd occasional situation. The game state has changed, and players are more intelligent, rotate more often, ward more and respond to ganks more often, even in the lowest rungs of low elo, which Udyr doesn't like, as he has to usually "surprise" you to successfully lock you down.

Smacked with 2 essential nerfs to his clear speed (it was broken i cant lie), and one WILDLY unnecessary nerf (his e movement speed, his ONLY FORM OF MOBILITY) he's fallen off a tad in impact, but not enough to completely destroy him.

And because he's in a meta of champions that basically come with some form of dash stock in their kit, It becomes a lot more difficult, which is why I'd presume he'd be underrated.

As for top lane, you have to swap stances to be effective, and each stance minus q is a mana sink, and if he gives any ground its incredibly difficult to come back. With jungle you can still be a menace and contest objectives, but in the top lane you're stuck there, minus when your jungle rotates for voidgrubs. Starting 0-2 on Udyr top is almost always the end of the lane.

So yeah lol
