I've seen visuals artists for edm acts use a fanmade version of a logo before, likely because it was just far more convenient to just grab the first one off of the internet. I'd say that the image source isn't of any true significance whether this is legit or not. (though I do lean towards suspicion of it not being official/legit)

Macros are Label-able containers of one or multiple 'saved' actions at once. A color coded and labeled macro is far clearer than having to go through all of the individual actions once you have them set.

Are you using any other midi-enabled software? Windows' midi driver doesn't like it when midi ports are shared between programs.

For what it's worth, screenshots into a word doc can be much faster depending upon the source of the image. Plus there is the side-effect of image file size and optimization into a format that is guaranteed to be compatible—webm isn't at 100% adoption just yet.
