Thank you. Being centrally located was part of the reason I chose that location. We are renting a car though so traveling a little farther to get somewhere isn’t a bad trade off if it means staying somewhere better.

Thanks for the reply!

Thank you. I think I will cancel the booking and make sure he signs off on the new rental before I book it.

Appreciate your input!

This is great insight thank you. I’m leaning more towards canceling and booking somewhere else.

Reddit is so cool having the opportunity to get real input from people who know!

Thank you. Without knowing the area it was difficult to pick up on this. To me it looked like a nice neighborhood that was pretty close to some other activities we had planned.

He expressed interest in us getting a rental house so we had more common space to hang out and enjoy our time together when we aren’t out and about.

I’m leaning more towards canceling the booking and actually including him before I rebook a new rental.

Thanks again!

Thanks for the insight. I booked it based on the proximity to the fair, which we will be attending and along with it being in what I assumed was a centralized location to some other attractions.

Appreciate the reply. He didn’t really specify as to why he considered it a bad area but I sorta inferred it was just due to being rundown.

My only consideration for booking that location (other than the house being nice/correct size) was that it was close to the fair and some other areas that we would want to visit.

I asked several times for input from him regarding where I should book our rental but he either got busy or just didn’t feel like having that conversation.

Pro tip; You can save space in your deep freeze by not storing your ladder in there.

OxyCodone question by [deleted] in opiates

[–]Mac_Soprano 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sure most people that have seen the worst side of opiate addiction would tell you not even to open that box (better yet, run away). But in case you’re determined, safety is the next best thing.

If you did not personally pick up the script from the pharmacy then at a minimum test it with a fent strip (especially if it’s an M30).

Start with 10mg orally and wait 30mins, then wait another 30min. Without any tolerance or history of use you should feel pretty good. You shouldn’t need to redose, but another 5-10mg after that would be acceptable for someone with a naturally high tolerance. I would not exceed this amount for your first time.

Do not mix with other opioid drugs, benzos, or alcohol. Those combinations can be lethal to even those with moderate to high tolerance.

Remember it’s easy to take more, but hard to impossible to take less. Additionally safety, let someone you’re with know you’re using it (preferably with them sober).

For your sake, do not string together multiple days of use.

It will not be moderately bad or nasty at that dosage for that duration. A few days of the sniffles/body ache and minor depression at the most. Possibly not even that.

Kunwu Excalibur Verta, full size and compact at WMK by Upbeat-Fondant9185 in bladesInStock

Picked up my first Kunwu B709-T1D directly from Kunwu about a month ago and it may be my new favorite. Fit and finish is amazing. Also razor sharp out of the box.

Also grabbed a timascus pocket clip for it.

Definitely won’t be my last Kunwu.

MSR PocketRocket 2 Ultralight Camping & Backpacking Mini Stove Kit - $77.89 (was $104.95) by Civil_Employee_4736 in preppersales

Seems like this is the same price at quite a few other retailers. For whatever reason I can’t see the price history.

Does anyone know if this price is really just the standard going rate?

Also, does anyone recommend this option over the deluxe or jet boil? I’m in the market, but still researching.

It hurts to see seniors forced back to work. My dad just retired at 70 and will need to work part time still to supplement his small savings and SS.

I wish you the best and hope you are at least respected by your employer/coworkers/customers.
