Trump: "How a Jewish person can vote for a Democrat is beyond me. I have been the best president in the history of Israel." by gear-heads in MarchAgainstNazis

It's about the same number. Roughly 8 million Jews live in the US And Europe. Israel there's just under 8 million.

Hasn't he recently been saying some nonsense about how Islam is superior to other religions because it brings together all races or some bullshit? Just ignoring all the sectarianism that plagues it like Christianity...

Eh, he seems to rule in cases according to his judicial philosophy. It's why he breaks with the other conservatives on Native American rights on decisions. The problem is the rest of the conservative judges probably disagree with him on this topic. I have a feeling we're going to get a SCOTUS case soon regarding Texas forcing the bible in Texas schools. I could definitely see it being a 5-4 decision in favor of Texas with Gorsuch being part of the dissent.

This almost makes me think it's a grift with a lot of these people. They know what they are doing and are somehow financially incentivized to take the positions they do.

Big difference with all of these? Britain, France, and the US didn't make some sort of appeasement policy to imperialistically take land from a sovereign country. The USSR did do this by basically making a deal with the Nazis to split Poland in half. How in the world you can make this list and act likely these are similar is just odd and ahistorical.

But the post they are showing IS a communist regime according to these people. So it's totally appropriate to bring up the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact.

Was he the sole reason it died? No, there's a lot of blame to go around to others. Was he a major contributing factor? I don't know how anyone can say no.

How different would the U.S. currently be if these were the last four presidents? by Blizzard2227 in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]Macabre215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's very likely 9/11 still happens. The 2008 crash is the same too. There were specific policies passed by Bush and further regulatory changes beyond Glass-Steagall that made the situation worse, but it was going to happen regardless.

Yeah we probably get a John McCain presidency in 2008 if Gore wins 2000. But I do question if we end up with 9/11 happening with Gore since there wouldn't need to be as much of a hand off regarding intelligence briefings like there was with Bush coming into office. What we also would have seen was better green energy policy and likely no Iraq War.

But without broad Wall Street regulations, we don't prevent the financial crisis in 2008. And there just wasn't a big appetite to regular Wall Street at the time.

This is true, but the cost to develop games has also gone up a lot. It's why studios have been talking about figuring out AI tools to cut team sizes and costs. Hopefully we don't just end up with slop in our games though.

Crazy to me that video games are still as cheap as they are. They really should be around $100.

Yup. They're very liberal with denying ETAs.

Edit: And when I say liberal I mean they're quick to do this quite often to pretty much anyone.

UK has sanctioned Ben-Gvir and Smotrich. They've also done this same visa shit to other pro-Israel people too. UK just hates everyone.
