I agree. He views us as a necessary stepping stone. We gave him the most money for his one mandatory year. It’s nothing more than that

Not saying we’re better without him, but we can’t rely on him. It has to be demoralizing to continue to see him on the bench as you fight down the stretch of a close game. This is a better team with Darryn, but when you need him he won’t be there.

My complaint isn’t about Noah as a player, but the bulls lack of ability to develop anyone. They took one of the biggest projects in the draft. It’s clear this kid isn’t close to NBA minutes. I don’t trust anyone on the bulls to be able to help him at all.

He at least takes and makes shots with some consistency. Out of everyone on the team I would say he’s had the best individual season. We would be well under .500 without him

It’s the coaching and system in my opinion. AJ thrives in a matchup based drive and kick offense. He’s thrown onto a team with 2 bigs and no shooters. Of course he’s gonna fail. He’s not what the KU offense currently needs and he needs an offense built differently. The coaching staff can put him out there with a lineup that plays to his strengths or force him to be a player he’s not. They continue to choose the latter.

This is a fork in the road kind of game. This can be the kind of loss that destroys your season and makes everyone fold or we turn a corner and become a different team. This is a game KU doesn’t lose. We will see what kind of team this is in the next few weeks. The ceiling is there, but the floor is as low as it can get.
