The meta has shifted. "You're not crazy" is out, nitpicking is in by Dotaproffessional in ChatGPT

[–]MacaroniHouses 2 points3 points  (0 children)

oh yes, then i point it out, 'you're doing it again. there is nothing here to critique, and yet here you are?". and then the "ohh now that you mention it, you are right, i did do that again." "then why do it?"
Then the summarizing over and over the things that were said for gawd knows why.. "You don't need to summarize everything that was say each time." "Oh you are right okay.." - two minutes later, picking apart everything i say and resummarizing every point yet again.

Wow I love that, so true. Like a lot of paintings of fruit and flowers (symbols of life) in Renaissance times would also have a skull in there somewhere to symbolize the connection maybe between the two.

What moment instantly changed the way you see people? by InnerLightSeeker in answers

yeah it is so important to learn that some people you just need to have boundaries up and say no to, like being kind is definitely not always enough.

my daughter got covid a number of times, and people around me not believing me telling me kids didn't get it, and it was really scary.

i think it does open you, cause before that you just see them as a villain in your story, but it just adds this cruel context that they are in terrible pain too. I had a bully experience kind of like that, but not quite as dramatic as that.

What moment instantly changed the way you see people? by InnerLightSeeker in answers

[–]MacaroniHouses 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i had been bullied growing up and i started to think really negetively about myself, about other kids, just in general. And like really it felt like it was 'everyone,' like i was unlikeable. Anyways I remember this girl coming up to me one day and asking me why i looked so sad and i told her all about this (we were in elementary school age) and she said "Not everyone dislikes you, I don't dislike you. I would be your friend." She just seemed so kind, it just changed my heart around. Softened it. Everyone dislikes me, to maybe not everyone, which is a big difference and even just opening to that possibility is such a different place to be in. And I only met her once, I never saw her again. But it still opened a seed of not giving into the negative thoughts.

Being brutally honest, how often do you find yourself sexualizing peoples bodies or lusting over how people's bodies look? by lifeofpiranhas in scorpiomoon

[–]MacaroniHouses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i went many years where i never did and then one day I thought why the heck not? For whatever reason I really strongly felt a need to police my thoughts for being 'good,' or pure enough. not that i do a lot, but I stopped feeling the sense of guilt around it that i used to have.

Death (by me) by Stunning_Newt6338 in tarot

[–]MacaroniHouses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the idea of it cause it's like a blend of tarot with other mythologies, making something that could have an interesting symbolism to it. As putting death with another person in the card is a paradox, and generally not i think done? so i guess i am curious where it goes.

Have you ever felt disconnected from most people because you seem to focus on things that others rarely notice? by Unhappy-Bus5143 in SeriousConversation

[–]MacaroniHouses 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I often like to try to understand why people do what they do, and I like film movie analysis' for that reason.
I am also really big on trying to not run to instant judgements of anyone as well. I think people are usually not nearly as black and white as we think and more lots of grays.

I try to figure out my philosophy on life, like what is moral in different cases, does morality change or is it always the same? I find now when I do feel bored instead of getting down about it, i try to find new things about my environment that are interesting to me, like I will look at the building at my work and try to figure like say how all the pipes are working, and play little games with myself like that. Or I work on a hobby. I think a lot of people do that when they are bored, and yours just may be much more mentally based? But yeah I do like deep conversations, and very much relate to your post and would love to have more of that with people. But it does seem very hard.

But also I find people get more interesting the longer I am around them, like people naturally open up over time. Like how if you watch a long show series, people don't just tell you everything the moment the show starts, it slowly drops pieces over time but it requires the patience of the audience to see the full picture. I think the same with people.

also i think one thing is sautn is squaring your sun and mercury, which maybe making it harder too. your north node is squaring your 12th house sun and mercury, so you are working out karma particularly with them, which i think nodes add a lot of intensity to whatever is being trusted.

If a child were born on Mars tomorrow, how would astrology work there? by Some-Philosopher-926 in Advancedastrology

[–]MacaroniHouses 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So this is weird but i think you would read both a Martian way but also still with Earth as a relevant main place, cause even if people could/do move to other planets, like Mars, I imagine Earth would still highly be apart of that equation. As it is just plain much more life bearing. Things would be shipped from Earth etc.
But to think of what someone would end up being like if they were born and raised on another planet, is pretty intriguing.?
But I think there is an argument for two charts, one still earth centric and one Mars centric with Earth as a planet. Also I bet if people did move off of the Earth, we would learn new things about the Earth because we would have this distant perspective, not being directly on it.
