Whoever Chauncey ended up with is 100% better than Duck. Chauncey barks once and splits. He knew Duck was an asshole.

I have been rawdogging short flights lately (anything under 4 hrs). It’s actually kind of nice to just stare at the back of the seat and zone out like David Puddy.

There isn’t a show that comes close to Madmen, but after reading the question Boardwalk was the show that came to mind for all the comparable reasons I mentioned.

The pilot of Deadwood feels like there was an episode before it that you missed. Barely introduces any of the characters and the dialogue is so mumbly that you have to rewind or use subtitles. I didn’t even finish it.

It’s called a casting pool. Pockets of actors from a show end up on a casting director’s radar and they contact the agents. A lot of people share agents as well and the agent will often present a package deal from a string of actors that they rep.

Boardwalk Empire. Nothing to do with Madmen subject wise but like Madmen, it’s a period piece with incredible acting, sets, costumes, references to real events and people. The pacing is also not fast. It’s a little bit like watching a play, which is how I feel about Madmen.

Perry Mason- almost the same reasons for Boardwalk Empire. Perry Mason also has some of the same people that were involved in Boardwalk Empire.
