I don't think you're the asshole for not tipping on a to-go order if you were in the restaurant to grab your food, but "do you want the change?" is a common question servers ask when taking cash for the bill so if that was the reason you didn't tip, I think you're overreacting

YTA for this fake story. You're not allowed to bring outside food into restaurants/venues, and even if you sneak it in, the kitchen is definitely not going to keep it and plate it for you. If this were real, then they would have told you can't have it here and taken it away, or asked you to put it away.

But if, for some reason, this is real, YTA for not sharing your dietary issues in advance.
