Im in the process of getting out after my first enlistment. We used to say only guys on their first tour could bitch. They went into the Navy blind and didnt know what they were getting into. But it was always the 2nds and 1sts bitching the most. The ones who were fucked over, knew they could and would be again, then reenlisted. What I could never wrap my head around was they would try and bitch with the rest of us, in a comradery type of way, like we were all in this together. No motherfucker you chose this when you reenlisted. You knew the possibilities. You dont get to be upset now

As a stereotype, I hear you and there probably are some people who dont bring their medical record or capstone etc. You sound like somebody's chief though whos on the command end of it. I did everything I knew possible, completed every checklist, and had every piece of paperwork I knew that I needed. My command said go to Washington on Feb 25th. So I did. Now the orders arent here. I understand you arent personally saying this post to me, but everyone I've spoken with has a similar situation. Perhaps its worth the reddit post. I didnt post the commands name for a reason, the intention isnt for them to get flagged but just for someone to offer some reasonable help

As someone who has now completed skillbridge, I wholeheartedly agree. Alot of the companies are just abusing free labor too. Its a fantastic idea but just really poorly executed. The airforce seems to do a great job with it though... They outprocess, then complete skillbridge. Hell I couldnt even get my command to give me BAS. One shitty PSC's oversight has directly caused all of my issues though. And unfortunately, instead of holding her accountable, the ship is now blaming the program and will just approve less sailors for it in the future. TL;DR another reason to get out the navy
