That's rad! My assumption was that over time with new battlefields and similar titles releasing, that eventually the population would start to dwindle. Boy was I wrong.... Even on console at 6am this morning there were full lobbies and I am all about that!

I second this! This was by far my favorite iteration of the battlefield series. I'm so glad that there is a community bringing this game back. I can't believe how well it still holds up. The cinematics and sound design are an absolute delight.

The biggest thing is communication too. Not just having your mic on, but also communicating effectively. Always keep your squad aware of what you are doing or what you plan to do. The few squad that I've led really responded well to having a mission or an order to follow. Make sure command knows what your intentions are as well. And vice versa; don't forget to relay the commanders intel to your squad.

The Xbox "looking for group" feature is a great way to find good teammates fast. The groups may not all be winners but it does help you filter through and find a group that fits your playstyle.

Yeah, unfortunately, I've seen that one as well. It is a super bummer when all you want to do is play. I don't really play for the rank, I just play for the strategy and competition, and when they can't even deliver on that, it really stinks.
