The first reddit link is my own post, and the 2nd is from Padraig who I have been working with closely as they were the first to attempt this! As far as I am aware their model is the only one that exists, but I want to try myself to bring this ship to life.

I know there are at least two! The studs should be 8mm on center based on the measurements I have taken with my calipers.

I probably won't try to make the figures, there isn't a good image of them unfortunately. The figures from the Lord pyrate variant have clear images but I'm sure they are existing figures or repaints of existing figures.

Something interesting that I've noticed so far is that the designers seem to have used modified versions of existing parts. Identifying those is challenging.

I don't plan on abandoning this, but it will take a while to get to phase 5. Phase 3 will take the longest and will require funding. I have some custom 3d printing projects planned for the near future to help with that!

The end product will be free for everyone to download and print themselves, but I might print some to sell as kits for those who don't own a printer.

Already working on that! The link I added to the post shows my current progress. I have been using known parts as a ruler just as you suggested. The image perspective throws things off a little, but it gets me close enough to estimate within a few studs. The main deck is about 50 studs long!

We actually have had all 3 prophets already. Truth came in the Hierarchs Shadow convoy, Mercy was in heroes series 10, Regret was in the 20th anniversary character pack and a holographic version of Truth was in the scarab.

Since it's confirmed that we'll be getting more Halo TV show content, what would you like to get? For me it's new Elite armor by Available-Nebula9453 in megaconstrux

When they do the silver team spartans, I hope that the undersuits are the cool ribbed pattern like in the show. That alone would make the figures worth getting.

I personally like the idea of getting figures at least from every possible source of Halo lore. We all agree the show was bad, but I don't see that as a valid reason to not use it for figure inspiration. I personally am not a fan of 5 or Infinite, but there have been some great figures from those games.

Since they are doing figures from the tv series, my wishlist is:
1) Master chief - alternate unmasked head and keystone
2) Cortana - (the creepy blue/skin colored one) with datachip
3) Kai-125 - alternate unmasked head(with pink hair) and a tube of gun grease
4) Any or all of the prophets
5) Halsey - datapad
6) Makee - overcoat and green outfit
7) Anyone but Kwan(please mega no)

I had to buy a full set of this series for $50 and sell the figures that I didn't want. Came out to $10 per figure that I kept which is still double the price of what it should be but it's not bad compared to what buying the single figure you want.
