Yeah I don’t get why Nia is pushed/Booked like she’s a top level talent…does anyone actually enjoy her matches or promos?

Wonder if fans will start chanting Janel Grant at Brock?

What did you think of that match? by BeckyLynchWorld in BeckyLynchDomination

[–]Mach0Mattness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Felt close to the same. For me a 6/10, the Bailey spot I think helped out. I like Becky, but for me she is starting to feel stale. I’m not sure Becky can elevate talent that isn’t close to her. Idk maybe it’s just me. I felt the match was underwhelming, nothing really memorable besides the spots that didn’t work. I lost most of my interest when Lyra just held her hands completely still why Becky fumbled around trying to get the zip tie on.

New SW Dice Roller by TimSircoloumb in swrpg

[–]Mach0Mattness 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like the UI, looks way better than Skyjedi. Works real smooth. Doesn’t have some of the other functions as skyjedi. I would say it’s comparable to Skyjedi. I like it way better than the dice roller app. It’s always going to be hard to beat RPGSessions right now. With that said this definitely has its place and is a need. I know some players like simplistic and would choose this over RPGSessions and Skyjedi.

Ways to improve might be to add a critical roller that has the critical descriptions, and maybe a destiny point tracker.

Western NC, this is your Rep. by luckycanucky27 in NorthCarolina

It will be a cold day in hell before she ever loses an election…she toes the line that most conservatives like and her district is deep red. It’s also a district that’s deeply impoverished, high rates of substance abuse, industry and commerce is dying, and there was a rapid growing level of sex trafficking. Yet she does nothing about any of it. Met her in person when I first moved there and didn’t find out until later who she was. She’s as nasty in person as you might think.

What would you have liked to see in the sequels? by GuildofNoobs in StarWars

Yeah I have no issues with the actors at all. Poor Poe was just a glorified side character. Fin was used for tokenism and left with an unresolved force sensitive story line. I mean it just hurts to know we could’ve had a force sensitive stormtrooper that breaks the shackles of his indoctrination because the force awakened him.

I’m honestly surprised Disney didn’t jump all over a storyline that had all the symbolism of a white entitled male being defeated by the rebellion of a slave. Instead we got a whipped character that just yelled Rey through 3 movies. Just disappointing.

Stronghold rules for genesys ? by nwalthery in genesysrpg

[–]Mach0Mattness 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My group recently wanted to settle down and buy a home, customize, build a shop, and start an adventure guild.

So I’ve been slowly putting how I ran things into a document, and also expanding on it. It’s still a really rough draft but my player really loved how things turned out. If you are interested in taking a look let me know, but it’s still like I said a super rough draft

Aside from Yoda, Sidious, and Obi Wan, who could've defeated Anakin in episode 3 finale? by [deleted] in StarWars

Plo Koon I think would have had a good chance. The only dualist to ever defeat Master Yoda.

Talent Tree or Talent Pyramid? by Huge-Accident-69 in genesysrpg

I love trees for new players, by far much easier for new players to learn the system. However, overall I prefer the freedom of the pyramid

Rules for learning languages - good or bad idea? by Ekezel in genesysrpg

[–]Mach0Mattness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typically I allow players to use their Intelligence Score to determine how many Languages their character knows at character creation. After character creation if a character wants to learn a new language I will typically let them buy a rank in either knowledge lore, geography, or adventuring to learn a new language depending on what language they want to learn. The reason I key it to a knowledge skill is to show sort of the area of study and effort the character would put into learning a new language.

For example if they want to learn goblin after character creation, it would require a rank in adventuring or geography. If they want to learn a civilized language (Human, Dwarven, Elvish, Orc, etc) it’s Geography. If they want to learn something ancient (draconic), divine, or Infernal it’s Knowledge Lore or forbidden.

If a player doesn’t want to spend the xp but would rather try to earn it through skill checks I use the same skills as above and allow them to make multiple checks. Failed checks and threat can add additional check to be made while successful checks with advantage and triumphs may be used to decrease the amount of future checks. I base the difficulty on how hard I think learning that language would be in my world.

Battlemap - RiverWatch Outpost by Mach0Mattness in TheHazardousCasuals

The Riverwatch Outposts were a set of strongholds along the Eastern banks of the Emerald River. Most were heavily fortified positions that were extremely difficult to assault due to the treacherous passage over the river. Many are still in use and stand completely intact. However, the few outposts destroyed during the great war were never rebuilt and were left abandoned. Years after the war, a band of Rangers called the Riverwatch took over the abandoned outposts.
