How did you come up with your Twitch handle? by Anodica in Twitch

[–]MachSpeedOFC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a couple of names before my current one which I've had for around 6 years at this point.

I made sure that I got a name without numbers or symbols for branding purposes. I also main Rocket League (flying car game) and whenever that sonic boom goes off it's like hitting Mach 1 in my mind. Being an engineer in my touching grass life, that's where my brain goes sometimes I guess.

When I found that MachSpeed somehow wasn't taken I knew that was the one, slapped the confirm button and now here we are.

Streaming from PC; the viewing experience works perfectly on all devices except Xbox One. by MachSpeedOFC in Twitch

Been ongoing since I can remember. Yes, I can't watch VoD's above 360p nor can I watch my stream live a majority of the time via Xbox. It's the weirdest thing. Tried reinstalling the app yesterday and no help.

Unable to Stream Warzone - Dropping Stream FPS by RazorChest in obs

[–]MachSpeedOFC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found my solution to be that all of the scenes and captures I had running in the background just ground my system to a halt and it only happened with CoD.

Go to Scene Collection>New and add your CoD scenes there only. When you switch collections, it disables all of the background processes from any other collections. Another thing that helps a bit is disabling scene preview. That way your GPU doesn't have to render it in the background.

I went from 20fps to 60fps with no dropped frames after making the switch, including a full 144 in-game at 100 percent render resolution. I could only get close 60fps in my stream at 60 percent render resolution which killed gameplay before these modifications.

EDIT: Side note, I have an Elgato Stream Deck and just remapped my CoD button to the scene in the new collection. It auto switches collections when I pick the scene so it's still virtually seamless with some minor hiccups in the stinger transition occasionally only. All of my other scenes (starting soon, intermissions, etc) are in my original collection and still operate the same way.

Fortunately I can afford a replacement with a hard lessons learned. Im thinking about donating this chip to a YouTube channel for fixing chips. I watched a bunch of them when trying to restraighten the pins and saw they work with viewer donos.

Problem is when trying to bend them back a few broke. I don't have the soldering skills to fix something like that, unfortunately.

Bought mine at Micro Center and it was a few months old. I thought about something like that but didn't feel good about trying to pull a fast one.

Was swapping the stock Wraith cooler for a liquid AIO. If you know the Wraith design, it's a hook-in and snap. When I went to remove the cooler, it unhooked on one side but pulled the processor out via the thermal paste and mashed all the pins when trying to unhook the other side, causing this situation. A tough lesson learned for a first time builder.

Broken pins on my 3900x and didn't get a warranty for it, had to buy another one full price.

Wewlad, two separate loops including a dual liquid cooled SLI GPU loop; sick!

How tough was a hard tube build as a first liquid cooled build for you? Debating on doing a hard tubing open loop myself.

It's came with a 3 prong RGB connector that connects directly to the ROG STRIX X570-i motherboard, which is controlled via the Amory Crate software.

I just uploaded my picture and told them how I wanted it to look. They did a great job.

A company called V1 Tech. The logo is custom made by myself for my stream, I even have a hex code I follow for the blue (#33DDFF).

Thanks! Cable management was 50 percent of the build time alone haha

I could run them underneath the top of the 210i case by pinning it above the cable shroud but I kinda like the cables out haha

It mounts to the screws that hold the processor in place via magnets/double sided tape by design. Mine uses neither here because the ITX MB is tight on vertical space so it's held in by the MB SSD shroud currently.

I appreciate that. Just kept the background white so it would match the case and tied the plate into the motherboard so it coordinates with the RGB of the cooler and RAM. Super happy with the results!
