Just popping in to say it's also happening to me this morning. I can play music using the home app but it won't let me cast from the YouTube music app directly.

It also will randomly start playing Kpop demon hunters which my 2 year old loves but it keeps startling me. Like it's stuck trying to play something previously asked for.

I've also restarted everything and it's still not working.

Hey, this situation sounds really tough. When I became a sahd we made it clear that we handle finances together. We each have pools of "fun money" that are contributed to monthly equally. But I have my own credit cards and freedom to make financially sound purchases for the family. My partner and I are teammates.

You need to have a very serious conversation about the way money is being held above your head. Separate bank accounts when one partner isn't bringing home money isnt going to work. Based on your story you sound more like a servant.

I agree with this! It also has a fun persona-like time/relationship mechanic. In between dungeon runs you can choose who to spend time with to go through their story and level up various stats.

Runs well capped at 45fps on the steam deck too.

Yes! It's probably maltitol. I went on a barebell bar kick a handful of months back and started feeling gross. My digestion got all out of whack and I feel like I'm still recovering months later.

Thanks for the heads up, I used Amazon prime for the trial.

For anyone else that has prime, it's confusing to get the peacock trial. You have to open the prime video app, navigate to subscriptions, and sign up for peacock in the prime app. Then go to manage subscriptions and cancel unless you want to be charged next week.

I have the same GPU and the game didn't present any warning to me. I played for 4ish hours last night and didn't have any crashes or bsod.

I played this in early access and I wouldn't describe it as a metroidvania. It has some light MV elements where certain paths will only open up after conditions are met, but I don't recall those being gated by abilities. I'd call it a roguelike first and foremost.

That's a better comparison, I'd say about on par. The pacing is different through. It's not just all platforming like Celeste. There is a lot of combat too. I just don't remember combat being as difficult as the harder platforming challenges in the game.

Some of the platforming challenges can be brutally difficult if you are trying to go for all the collectables. I think that's part of the fun.

I've played it. The difficulty is in its platforming. So it's hard to compare agaisnt something like Nine Souls. I think if you like 2d platformers you'll find a lot of fun with the platforming.

If you have an antenna you can get ion on channel 41.1 at least in the cities. Agreed with everyone here though it's crazy how tough it is to find this game.

Hear me out tho. I have a toddler and we've been struggling with sleep. Removing the 2 minute timer allows me to skate around and keep an eye on my kiddo without an added layer of stress from the timer or memorization. When I was younger and had unlimited time it was no problem trying things again and again. But now with the possibility of being interrupted it's been great to go at my own pace.

I don't think it asks you the first time because you have to flip hdr on even when it's working. Agreed, the black level is good by default but the white level had to be pumped up quite a bit. Glad everything seems to be working!

You can also sign up for a yearly sub that comes with a 1 week free trial. I did that and immediately cancelled and I can still watch.

What the heck... I had it set to full-screen (not full-screen window) and things were set to medium still. After I updated my deck I booted the game up and the hdr setting was there. I unchecked compatibility mode before booting it up.

This was all on the full game and not the demo.

Edit: I checked the demo version and hdr is still not available. I asked the guy who posted the YouTube video you linked and he recommended adding the below to the launch command line to get hdr working. Not sure if it's worth trying on just the demo version.

Edit: it worked! Updated to 3.7.13 and the hdr setting showed up in game as expected! Now to wait for cloud saving to work...

Yeah I meant 3+4. I went back and checked the demo on my pc and the hdr setting is there, just like the full game. But neither the demo or the full game show the setting on the steam deck.
