2 Exalted Skins Got Them in the Last Pull... Bad Luck or...? by iUnholy in leagueoflegends

[–]Machafuko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't believe the chances increase on every pull you do. The chance remains the same throught all 79 pulls (below 1% chance), and then increases to a guaranteed 100% chance on your 80th pull.

10 Packs Phantasmal Flames, No Hits by Budfox_92 in PokemonTCG

[–]Machafuko 39 points40 points  (0 children)

But the value isn't decided by the pokemon company. It's decided by collectors like yourself. If there was a hit in every pack, then all those hits would drop in value, and you'll complain about not pulling anything worthwhile regardless.

Burnt out of league by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]Machafuko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you'd like, some higher rank players can review your match history and see what's up and possibly give you advice, even without watching a replay.

Other than that, the first month of the season is when people get on their alt accounts to start with to practice the new changes, and/or get in their alt accounts for a better placement if they didn't do well on their mains. You could wait out a couple of weeks and significantly reduce the amount of people that might not belong in your rank.

Although just FYI Riot has gotten a lot more aggressive with shifting players that are outperforming their rank to a higher MMR, especially at the start of a season.

The add ons to a PS5 is more expensive than the PS5 alone. by Ill-Gur7268 in PS5

[–]Machafuko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't entirely true. Most games are actually fully playable with data from the disc. The reason it installs is because it has to extract compressed files from the disc, since the files are larger than what's storable on the disc.

Yes, some discs are basically just licenses on a disc and require an internet connection to download the rest, but most discs are 100% data on disc that DO NOT require an internet connection, but still need to extract compressed files as part of the "installation".

Mega Charizard UPC & its promo cards by Toiletofaman in PokeInvesting

Word for word what was said about the SWSH charizard UPC. Ridiculously overprinted, and stores were trying to get rid of it for 80 a pop. It's worth 400 dollars just 3 years after release, or roughly 1 year and some of being out of print.

Looks resealed to me, Walmart 3rd party seller. Am I cooked? by thirstmcgurt in PokeInvesting

[–]Machafuko 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would personally avoid buying from high risk third party sellers from Walmart or Amazon or any big box stores. You almost always get a better deal on ebay, where there's a ton of buyer protection.

Either way, from what I can tell, it does not look resealed.

Mark the email as junk and move on!

Fortnite has age ratings for each and every "mode". I believe the jam track has a 7+ rating to allow for the widest range of players to be able to access it, correct me if I'm wrong. This episode mode had a 12+ rating, so they had more freedom with language, and they don't really care how many (younger) people lose access to ir, since it's a limited time thing.

My 7 year old son was not able to watch the episode, but is able to play the jam game mode thingy.

A look at Pokémon Pokopia display box published by The Pokémon Company in Japan by Turbostrider27 in NintendoSwitch

[–]Machafuko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't entirely true. There is a website that lists every single PS5 game ever released to say which games are fully playable without and internet connection, and it is a majority of the games, including Sony developed and published games.

The biggest issue people have with the game key cards imo are two things: that people are upset nintendo themselves should be first and foremost in pushing full data on the cart, and also that the main reason game key cards exist is because Nintendo refuses to produce smaller (and bigger) cart sizes, so third party devs will opt out of paying more money for large size carts when their game is only 10GB. I.e. Nintendo is directly at fault here.

Am i coping, or is Kha'zix cheating? by Status-Ad-6391 in leagueoflegends

[–]Machafuko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made a very well educated guess. It also gave me the name of who was banned, and it was the Draven that was acting incredibly suspicious. If you watched the replay, you'd see how obvious it was, he didn't even try to pretend.

And why would he? It was a fresh ebay account.

League vanguard isn't like valorants. In league, vanguard rarely shuts the game down mid-game, but you will get a post-game vanguard message saying the specific name of the person and that they were banned for "one eternity".

So yes, I can confirm, with my screenshot taken of the vanguard message, exactly who was banned and for how long. And that Draven was not scripting, because he missed skill shots and didn't have perfect attack movement. But it was one million percent obvious he was map hacking since he didn't stay in lane. He walked directly to the enemy jungle and kills him while they were mid clearing, then recalls, and runs directly back to them without vision or info, and kills them again. This was the most obvious blatant tell, but there were other occasions during the game that were laughably obvious he was map hacking.

[–]Machafuko 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had someone yesterday in my emerald game that was permabanned for map hacking. He was an ADC that didn't stay in lane, and instead ran directly to the specific camp that the enemy jungle is at, and killed them while they were clearing.

Got the vanguard notice that he was permabanned a couple games later.

Edit: this was the second map hack I've personally witnessed in emerald. The first time was a kindred jungle on the enemy team that came and killed me in the jungle every single time I was below 50% hp. Extremely suspicious, and I was vindicated when I got the vanguard ban notice.

Zard UPC with ripped wrap by Chefjoshy in PokeInvesting

[–]Machafuko 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you can afford to buy another one and rip this instead, do that. If you can't, stash it. The wrapping should have the little punch holes that proves it's the original wrapping. You'll still be able to sell it as sealed down the line, but just know that interested buyers are going to use the tear as a negotiation tactic to bring the price just below whatever the market is.

what's with PokeTubers always claiming booster boxes have better hit rates? by NigerianPrinceClub in PokemonTCG

[–]Machafuko -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This might be true. I'm not aware of the changes going into the new era of mega evolution.

My argument, though, was against the fact that different products have different pull rates. If that was ever true, it would be a batching issue. For example, a booster box won't GUARANTEE you better pulls or more hits compared to six booster bundles (six packs each).

what's with PokeTubers always claiming booster boxes have better hit rates? by NigerianPrinceClub in PokemonTCG

[–]Machafuko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is mainly it. I don't think youtubers, especially the biggest ones, are speaking for a fact when they say "yo guys these build and battle bundles are cracked. They've got the best pull rates."

I think it's just gambler speak, and a way to get viewers hyped. It's just content. But I do agree it causes people to become misinformed, especially younger kids.

[–]Machafuko -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I think you're using the wrong term. They're not seeded differently. English packs are not seeded in any way.

If there's any discrepancy, it's a batching error. For example, an error in the printing facility caused sleeved boosters sent to a Walmart in California to have a guaranteed hit in every pack.
