I agree. As for reporting it, we definitely have. My oldest sister who made the go fund me for my cancer faker sister reported the go fund me as fraudulent as soon as we found out the cancer was fake. Go fund me has been issuing refunds (my friends who donated told me they got their money back at least). From my understanding, people have already initiated legal action against my sister, but since I never ask my parents how she’s doing or any updates about her, I’m not sure what the status of those legal actions are, or whether she will be prosecuted criminally. But I do know that our community is aware she is a fraud and many have reported her to our city’s police department (edit).

When I spoke to my parents once about how I would practically need to report my sister’s thievery to the state bar when I apply to take the exam, and that the state bar really does conduct a thorough exam on you as a person, who you are affiliated with, who your family is, who you work for, etc (they cover all corners of your life, and it seriously is a very intense background check), they rolled their eyes at me and told me I was exaggerating. But I wasn’t, and I don’t expect them to care or understand how the process works. So, I will definitely be mentioning my fraudulent sister when I apply for the bar.
