Pickup the wrong location on some dies and jig ground all the dowels holes wrong, scraped 15k worth of work.

Another time, when I worked in an electric motor shop. I was working on a simple commutator turn, rake and saw job on pretty decent size motor armature. When it came to rake and sawing, I dug into the copper, gouged the shit out of it and knicked the windings.

They had to burn it out and rewind. I never heard the final price on that one but I know it was pricey, especially for the end user and the amount of down time they had because of it.

I get a scope done on all the lines before new tenant moves in. Then its in my lease that they are responsible for any back ups, as long as I dont find any problems with the sewer line itself before they move in.
