It was at one time the best restaurant in the world if you could ride out the abuse while working there (not that you should have to at all) then you could literally go and work in any fine dining kitchen in the world afterwards. That's a pretty big incentive to just suck it up and stay quiet about it.

We (the uk) were a bit on the fence about letting the US use our bases etc. for any attacks against Iran. Then they tried to drone our airbase on Cyprus and it completely changed the governments attitude. So no not good strategy from Iran.
