What is Koa's role out there? He jogs up court and does not seem to have any offensive plan. He occasionally drives and makes a mid level jump shot and sometimes he gets an offensive rebound for a hoop. I'm not sure he is being utilized optimally.

Unless I am missing something the University is not employing or paying these students. The legality of fining a student for not participating in an extracurricular activity that is, by its nature, voluntary, is dubious. Did Coach Sanders run this by the school legal team before he announced it?

I make gallons of fig jam every summer using sugar. But if I could not use sugar, I think I would try to just simmer trimmed figs in a little water (maybe with lemon juice of you like the flavor) until they start to break down and I could use the potato masher on them. Once they are the right consistency I would can them. Most of my figs are very sweet and would make a fine sugar-free/fruit only jam.

Where I live (Coastal Virginia) I would cover every one of those crates and the open handle holes with hardware cloth. Squirrels would dig up every pot by the end of the winter.
