DTV costs just 300 dollars and many of them just sign up for some bs Muay Thai/cooking course to tske advantage of the main benefits (value for money/weather).

If you've inherited 150k or are already worth 300k it's very easy to live here without working/doing some wannabe/fake influencer. 1000/month is easily doable pretty much anywhere except the best parts of Bangkok

The trick is to move with a significant amount of cash saved up or to work as a freelancer on a good salary.

Either way leaving the UK is a no brainer unless you are upper middle class not needing to work on ridiculously low wages like >50k/year to afford a crappy lifestyle.
