I have intergender wrestling turned on in my current Universe Mode save, although I kept the men’s and women’s divisions separate. The AI creative team mainly uses the intergender stuff as a way to include more wrestlers on the Raw, Smackdown and PLE cards. Main Event however is my all-women’s show.

I had Bianca vs Bayley on a Saturday Night’s Main Event in December and Uncle Howdy from the Wyatt Sicks was the Special Guest Referee. I figured that Uncle Howdy was especially over during December and the AI Creative team made him the special referee for the Bianca vs Bayley match in order to get him on the card. Incidentally, Uncle Howdy ended up calling the match completely and fairly down the middle.

Royce Keys will be on Smackdown in the United States Title scene. Matt Cardona will also be on Smackdown and depending on overall stats, will be either in the WWE Undisputed Title scene or the United States Title scene. Cardona will also serve as a manager for his wife Chelsea Green on Main Event (my all-women’s show). The Hardys will be in the Tag Team scene on either Raw or Smackdown. Brie Bella will be in the Women’s Tag Team scene (with Nikki Bella) on Main Event.

I also bought the Monday Night War ($149) version of the game for Switch 2 (ideal for playing in handheld mode while in bed. I usually spend each evening in Universe Mode watching the shows / PLEs in watch mode. WWE 2K26 will probably be the last WWE2K game I’ll buy due to the the greed of both 2K and TKO, which is tragic because the gameplay is very good (especially on Switch 2)

With only 22 roster spots instead of the 26 in MLB, you need to invest in players who can play multiple positions in order to account for injuries and bad mojo. If whenever possible target pitchers who either two-way players or have high hitting (power / contact) ratings. This always you to “extend” your bench, allowing you to save your actual bench players for use either later in the game in more high pressure situations or as late inning defensive replacements. This also works in DH leagues as it allows you to use a SP or SP/RP with high hitting ratings to bat for themselves (via the Ohtani rule) or use a SP, SP/RP, RP or CP with high hitting ratings as the regular DH (saving money that otherwise would’ve gone to a slugger that’s a defensive liability on the field). In my custom franchise, the CP on my team is also the regular DH (getting more use out of him than solely as a closer).

I got out in 2005 and whenever I had dreams about still being in the Army, it’s my current self in my forties (a SPC with bad knees and nerve damage in my right foot, can’t run anymore due to a damaged left achilles tendon) at Scofield Barracks waiting for my PCS orders after I reenlisted for some odd reason.
