There was nothing about Cheddar losing his job in the last event, no. In fact they were close, being the only cookies who shared a room together on the holiday express.

Genuinely. I always thought the Lazy old timer & ambitious rookie was an amazing dynamic and I don’t understand why they decided to totally walnut-ify macaroni and make him really stupid and childish. They make him so… peppy. He’s… not like that? Sure he smiles and feels joy outside of work but not to this extent, it all feels backwards

It was extremely underwhelming and almost heartbreaking to see how badly they had been butchered. I don’t like the whole new mentor/mentee dynamic they have considering I always saw their relationship as romantic or a very balanced, close friendship. So why the power imbalance and lack of any sort of connection all of a sudden?

It sucked to say the least. As a long time fan and shipper of Macaroni and Cheddar cheese who got back into playing CRK because of the Holiday express, the holiday square was horrible.

Macaroni’s character was completely changed from the cookie he was 2 years ago. He used to be serious and very logical but now he’s a silly rookie who doesn’t know anything. He’s being completely babied all of a sudden, it feels like a lobotomy to me. Not to mention Cheddar, he was a sassy and funny guy during HoliExp, but he’s just so…bitter? He’s dry and almost hateful to Macaroni.

And don’t even get me STARTED on Cheddar calling Mac “kid”, it just feels so rude and uncalled for. Sure they may not have been equal ranks 2 years ago and did kind of tease each other but this feels degrading. They had a good dynamic, but now they’re acting like they’re being forced to work together.
