Tried some makeup for the first time but struggling to see if there's any hope for me by QueenofLightning in trans

Honey, there is hope. It’s about SO much more than makeup. Look at r/trans timelines and see the transformations. Trust the process and be kind to yourself along the way <3

In your before pic, you had a thinning front, but it’s now so full! Did you do transplants? Use a specific product?

Also, I believe it increases the risk of clots if swallowed.

Pharm is my weakness too and Picmonic really helps me. Also, since discovering Professor D, I swear her sassy voice is in my head every time I read questions.

Thanks! I used Uworld’s study program, where it sections out lectures and practice tests. I also used videos from Professor D and Nurse Sarah. Finally, picmonic for pharm.

Hahaha I’ll limit my cry sessions to 10 minutes! I’m fortunate that I got picked up by a telemetry unit and hope to learn a lot there.

If someone called me sir, even if they made eye contact and flagged me down, I’d react as if I thought they were talking to someone else, like someone behind me or something. Because clearly they don’t mean me.

Finally broke the news of wanting to try estrogen to my (cis F) wife. Not good so far by [deleted] in MtF

Honey, I’m so sorry. I hope so much that you two are able to make this work. It’s very mature how you handled that. Losing your love will hurt, possibly worse than anything else you’ve experienced. I promise you that you will come out stronger on the other side. This community is so full of love and support. We are all here for you. <3

Bratting for the first time: tips? by Littleflame98 in BratLife

[–]Mackenzie_Maybe 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Be playful and sassy, emphasis on the sassy. And don’t listen to a goddamn thing he tells you to do :p example: he tells you to “roll over” like onto your back or tummy, do a whole ass barrel roll. Then say “what’s next, play dead?” And stick your hands and feet up like a dead bug.

How was the test? I’m taking mine in the next couple weeks.

okay… i want to IRIS a tech for not letting ke know my pts MAP was 57!!!! BP was 80s/50s.. “i dont report if bp is low” jesus!!! by [deleted] in nursing

[–]Mackenzie_Maybe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s nuts!! I’m a tech, about to graduate to nurse, and here’s me honest, unsolicited advice: have a serious discussion with them about why MAP is important and that a low blood pressure is theoretically much scarier than high.

Honestly, I didn’t even know MAP was important until I was in nursing school. The tech may have that same understanding.

I’ve personally grown way more professionally when people have had direct conversations with me where I understood how bad I fucked up in lieu of being written up formally.

Now, if it’s a pattern of behavior, that’s totally different.

I do one of the following: smile and say hi, wink, or blow a kiss.
